Severance (Season 1) - 8/10
A well cast, odd / off-kilter mystery full of intrigue thats kept me hooked throughout its first season. Just hope it doesn't get 'Lost'!

Parallels - 9/10

Anyone else watched this on Disney+? It's a French show, very reminiscent of Netflix's Dark. A little Stranger Things I guess. I absolutely loved it. I'm a sucker for a time travel tale.

Wellington Paranormal season 4. This show is hilarious. Effortlessly funny, so brilliantly written and witty. I urge everyone to give it a go. Taika Waititi is an executive producer on the show if that gives it any more credence. 10/10.

Dune - 9/10

I've never read the books or seen any other adaptations, all I knew before watching was it was set on another planet, had big worms and there was some drug called Spice. The story was easy to follow, the performances were great and it looked stunning.

The only downside was I wanted to watch part 2 straight away.

Oh and where was this scene?

Watching by myself, I jumped up and shouted WHAT THE strawberry float at that

It's so well written. I loved the way they teased Mark finding out about his wife and you weren't sure if he actually was going to

Which channel is severance on? Sounds like I should be giving it a go.

Going into the finale I thought either she or Ricken would turn out to be an Eagan, or that Helly would at least be high up at Lumon. I still think Ricken might end up being related to her ('Kier' appears in his name, weird philosophies that only gain traction in the equally weird world of the severed floor, has issues with his father etc.) but it might be stretching things a little to have Mark related to an Eagan. The reveal of Ms Casey's identity was the massive shock of the season for me, I didn’t see it coming at all.

Brilliant series with an immense cast.

It's just one of those shows where everything comes together. The premise, the style, the writing, the twists and turns...and the cast are just brilliant.

Best show I've seen in years.

All of Us are Dead - 7/10

Mostly I enjoyed it. There were a few niggles, the characters made some stupid decisions. Not necessarily because the characters were stupid or the situation went south and the decisions were stupid in hindsight. It seemed more that otherwise intelligent and competent characters suddenly made idiotic decisions just to add drama and cheap emotional send offs.

There was one "comedy" bit that seemed out of place with the tone.

At least one of the characters seemed to be there for another cheap emotional send off but since we knew nothing about her or her motivations or anything really I didn't care (at all) as much as I should have when she died. It's like she was literally a prop to add another layer of story/tragedy that really didn't have any pay off so was ultimately pointless.

Overall though, I did enjoy it and it's worth checking out. Kingdom was a much better Korean zombie series but this is worth giving a go.

Please do not post this in the "No Context" thread

The Book Of Boba Fett

What the hell is this? Seriously, who thought this was a good idea? The most boring character in the entire franchise gets a spin-off, and then they realise it's crap and abandon the entire thread halfway through.

Moon Knight

I think this has been for me the least satisfying of the Disney + MCU shows so far.

Moon Knight - 8/10

Second favourite to Loki. Superb performance from Oscar Isaac (deserves a nomination) and a genuinely interesting premise for a super hero show. Genuinely hope to see more of Moon Knight, a cut above the usual generic D+ Marvel Shows
