It escalates massively in the last few episodes.

I don't mind slow paced plots, thinking about it, I think it's more that the characters haven't grabbed me. I'll give it another episode or two.

Ted Lasso S1.

It’s wonderful. Everyone should be like Ted himself.

Will Ted Lasso or anything made by Apple come out on disc? I’d love to watch it but there’s no chance in signing up to a 5th streaming service.

I thought there was a way to get 6 months free via Ps+ on PS5? Or is that gone now?

I never pirate. I like good picture quality with subtitles so it seems like too much of a mess on.

I'm half way through Ted Lasso S1 and it really is amazing. I'm going to be sad once I've got through both sessions if it keeps up this quality.

Got round to finishing Squid Game, was good overall except for any scene with the English speaking VIPs and the red hair.

I've still got three more episodes of Midnight Mass to watch but I can safely say that it's absolutely excellent. I love vampire stories and this has to be one of the best.

Squid Game

I'm a little underwhelmed if I'm honest, but that's probably a result of the ludicrous hype. I enjoyed it overall but it just seemed to run out of steam in the last few episodes.

7/10

Bloodline - Series 1 to 3 (Netflix)

I've just finished this after binge-watching it for the past few weeks.

Great acting, good atmosphere, decent storyline, got pretty odd, unfulfilling ending, a wee bit depressing.

Back to Life Season 2 8/10- Well done Daisy Haggard for this black comedy. It's not constant laughs but has a compelling narrative.

Midnight Mass. I gave it up to episode 5 and I tried to like it, I just couldn't get on with it unfortunately. I can see why people like it but I'm quitting here.

For what it's worth, episode 6 was definitely the best episode imo, the series is a slow burn, and could have been edited down, but the payoff is worth it I thought. And then episode 7 is the last one anyway.

Thanks. I can't see myself going back, the past couple of episodes I've found myself browsing the internet, it just isn't holding my attention and the one character who I even half-cared about isn't in it anymore. I've really got no interest in what happens to the characters or the island as a whole. On paper I should be loving it but it's all just fallen a bit flat.

Squid Game - 8/10

Loved this for the most part but it completely botched the final episode.

> Didn't like the old man twist
> Didn't like the VIPs (why was their acting so bad  ), they completely ruined episode 7 which is a shame because the bridge game was brilliantly done
> Didn't like how they ended the policeman's story-his whole arc was basically just to build up to the brother reveal, which was completely obvious from early on. Considering he fell off the cliff entirely possible they were setting up Season 2, but based on this not a satisfying conclusion
> Didn't like the red hair...just felt abit pointless

The final episode was just really drawn out and really missed with what it was going for. A shame because the rest of it was brilliant, episode 6 with the marbles was so good.

Maid - 7/10 on Netflix.

Pretty good, but also a bit depressing and some of the main characters were quite irritating in how quirky they were, it was sometimes hard to sympathise when their behaviour was unreasonable or erratic. But the message behind the programme was important and will hopefully be seen by people suffering with non-violent domestic abuse and help them recognise that they're still victims.
