Trying to give Parks and Recreation another go on Prime to see if I can get what the fuss is about.

Forgot that Louis strawberry floating C.K. is in it. :dread:

You've only got a couple of days left until it's removed from Amazon

I'm not likely to get through it in that time then! :fp:

I can never seem to find a good way to check when stuff is getting kicked off Amazon, the UI on the Fire stick never seems to list dates like that.

Community - S1 - 10/10

I've heard the later seasons are gooseberry fool, but that was a flawless season of comedy. That paintball episode was amazing.

Community is one of those shows I've convinced myself will not hold up so I cannot attempt to rewatch it.

I think season 2 is the best of the bunch so if you liked the first season you should really enjoy the second.

I've not seen it before so have no idea how a rewatch would hold up. S1 was bloody fantastic though.

Series 3 is very good as well, doesn’t feel quite as strong as the first 2 which are just fantastic

Just finished series 3 of Community and also series 3 of Star Wars Rebels, Rebels is more consistent than Clone Wars so far but nothing has come close to the last 4 episodes of Clone Wars as they were just stupidly good, hoping to get series 4 of Rebels finished off soon so I can cancel Disney + while I wait for all of Mandalorian series 2 to be on there.

I'm inclined to agree. One of those "you had to be there, man" shows.

Having tried to go back to it recently this is spot on. Was one of my fav shows back in the day but it's aged really poorly.

I thought the same about Lost as well but the lore and characters always draw me in.

The Comey Rule

Disturbing horror mini-series set in a dark reality in which a gruesome villain takes control of a powerful nation.

Don't watch this before bedtime! Possibly the scariest thing I've ever seen.

Community is amazing up until Season 4. Took us a few times to get passed that part, but it's still alright after that.

Going to start a rerun of LOST soon I think.

Community has held up brilliantly IMO. The first two seasons along with the final season 6 are easily among my favourite runs of comedy of all time. It's comfortably better than any other contemporary/recent US sitcom that I can think of.

Wife and I are still making our way through a Parks and Rec rewatch up to season 4 now. It's held up okay but I still don't get the fuss that some people seem to make about it. It's a very good US sitcom but never even threatens to stray into territory beyond that.

Community - S2 - 9/10

I thought the first season was slightly better but this was still a hilarious season. Again the paintball episodes were the highlight for me.

I didn't dislike season 4 as much as a lot of people seem to. I thought the whole thing was very good.

Are you watching on Netflix out of interest?

There's a very good episode that I think Netflix have removed from the season recently - if you didn't see them playing Dungeons and Dragons then you have missed out!

Yeah I'm watching on Netflix and am aware the episode was removed. Might try and "obtain" it at some point.

ER - Seasons 1-15

Great show. Absolutely loved it, but it definitely peaks around season 5/6, stays consistently good till around season 9/10, then it slowly declines. Last season picks it up a little bit, but mostly because a lot of the old characters show up for cameos, or short storylines. Jumps the shark when one of the best characters dies from a Helicopter falling on them.

They replace great, beloved characters with new one's who just aren't very interesting, though some of them do grow on you over time.
