Last TV series you watched and your rating

No it's gooseberry fool, that's why we watched 3 series of it and rated it 9/10

I think the question was more 'did you also not like it at first, and found it to improve - or is it consistent throughout so I'm likely to not warm to it?'

Ah right. No I enjoyed the show from the start, I think there were a few slow ones near the end but it was mostly really good.

Community S6, I found it dire for the most part. 1-3 are great, 4 is okay, 5 is great again.

God I tried so hard to rewatch Community a while back. It was legit my fav comedy show ever when it aired, at least for the first 3 seasons. I think I made it partway through S1 and bailed as it was tarnishing my memories something rotten: like Firefly it's a show that has aged horribly, unfortunately.

Wow, interesting take. I still think it holds up well personally.


Conversely Firefly was never any good and yet has managed to somehow get even worse.

I watched the pilot of Firefly a couple of weeks ago.

It was fine.

I've crammed the entire run of Community over the course of about two months and while a fair bit doesn't hold up it's still a great show for the most part.

The reason the first half of season one seems bad now is simply because it was bad then.

Nearing the end of S5 E4 of Line of Duty, I’m guessing we’ll only find out the identity of H right at the end of the program's run, with how much they’ve been hinting that H is Hastings I can see it being someone you’d never expect (Steve, Kate for example) or someone we’ve not even met yet, seems almost too obvious it’d be Hastings at this point, although S6 could go either way on this I guess! I’m not sure when it’ll happen but Corbett is going to get offed at some point in S5, I can just tell he’s not going to make it out alive - edit, spoke too soon for this bit Do we know how long they plan to run it for? While I’ve really enjoyed it so far I can’t see it running for loads more series after 6 really.

I really hope so. It's been a good season but the overarching plot needs resolution.

The Good Place - 8/10

Starts off quite poor, but it had it's moments and I stuck with it. It began to pick up in season 2, and really improved in 3 & 4, and I really enjoyed the way it wrapped up.

The Good Place was excellent overall, although I thought it had a bit of a wobble in the middle

The Shield - 9/10 and a show with a great ending for once.

It wouldn’t be a bad thing at all if it does end this series, or with a final 7th series, surely there’s only so many bent coppers they can go after before it all becomes a bit too predictable for TV
