I found it really depressing because I work with a few people like that, who just steam roll through their own ignorance towards their goals. It was very satisfying when it went wrong for him, each and every time.

Finished off Inside No 9 yesterday, series 6 seemed to start of ok (first couple of episodes) but end quite poorly really, a little odd considering how enjoyable nearly all of the rest of it was. Still very good overall though.

Sophie: A Murder in West Cork - 7/10

Another interesting limited series from Netflix, but this one was ultimately a bit unsatisfying, mainly due to the nature of the case.

I’m halfway through - is it end like I think it’s going to end?
Trial by Media - 9/10. Netflix 6-parter, really eye opening look at the media’s role in law.

Unsure as to why but Sky have also made a documentary on this case. Not an interesting enough case for me so I can't speak to the quality of it.

Outstanding TV. It's been a long time since I've been so hooked on a show as that.

It's a brilliant show, one of my favourites of recent times.

There is a possibility that it won't ever get a conclusion though as season 2 took it's toll on those making it so the cast got released and Fincher went off to do other stuff. Apparently they might be getting closer to an agreement to bring it back though so fingers crossed!

Most recent Rick and Morty is rubbish, which is a shame because the first 2 episodes of Season 5 were great.

I won't spoil it for you, there are still some twists and turns.

Misfits S1. 8/10 very good.

Some good episodes and good performances. Robert Sheehan is really good. Im wondering if it stays good for each series, or does it drop off?

It does drop off, but it's still a quality show.

Guilt - 8/10
Thriller set in Edinburgh, about 2 brothers who accidentally run over an old guy on the way home from a wedding. Had seen nothing but good reviews for this; and, they were all pretty much spot on. Starts with quite a simple premise but expands it's story in the 2nd ep and becomes full of twists and turns. Very entertaining; and, it's only 4 eps, so quick to get through. BTW, I see a 2nd season is on it's way this year.

Time - 8/10
3 part prison drama with Sean Bean as a prisoner and Stephen Graham as a guard. So, it's obviously a given that the performances are great. Seemed pretty realistic to me; a depressing and feckin' horrible place that is awful for both prisoners and guards. I wouldn't last a night in there! :dread: Thankfully, there was an over-arching redemptive message behind it all; a chink of sunlight amidst the gloom.

Both shows are on Iplayer.

The most recent one is the Planetina one yeah? I too thought it was a bit crap, not sure if they were trying to send a message about young love but it all fell a bit flat without any particularly funny moments.

I did enjoy the first two though, Mr Nimbus was particularly great.

Done The Wire.

I'll have a look into The Shield then. Looks like it's on Amazon Prime.
