Awesome, glad you're enjoying it. It seems to have flown under a lot of people's radar, while squid games has blown up.

The second game in it was terrific, quickly googled it after episode 2 to see if it had a second series confirmed and I’m glad it has.

We finished Vigil last night, enjoyed the ride for what it was but it fell a bit flat towards the end. I think it just got too ridiculous and convoluted and collapsed on itself.

Just finished Midnight Mass, and it started off really strong for the first few episodes, to the point where it was not just good it was legit great. But it stumbled in act 2 and while act 3 was better on the whole it was just taking itself ludicrously seriously. Like, mate, its Vampires in Balamory, I don’t need pontifications on how death is atoms rearranging themselves or whatever. You’re not as profound as you think you are.

The monologue towards the end was such an unintentionally funny ramble that it seemed unscripted toward the end, like they were expecting to hear the director shout "cut" but it never came. I really hope that's not what goes through your head when you die.

Finished the final season of The Leftovers last night, perhaps not quite as brilliant as the second season but still fantastic.

I know the show had plenty of 'out there' moments, but Matt's episode in the final season with that weird lion cult was definitely up there with the most unexpected direction an episode has taken

I found Kevin and Nora's fight in the hotel quite tough to watch, and in a show full of quite dark stories Grace's story about her children was incredibly brutal.

Overall this is definitely up there with my favourite TV shows of all time, quite annoyed with myself I didn't stick with it past the opening episode when it originally aired.

Finished Midnight Mass

Was good overall, slow burns are fine but it just feels like it's wasting your time for a lot of if with those monologues. I pretty much tuned out completely during that final one.

Thought episodes six was great in particular. Especially funny when this alpha vampire is just going along with this church, angel scam I guess and even dressing the part for them.

Never watched Sex Education and I have been off work ill so I watched all 3 series in 4 days.

I absolutely loved it, some absolutely brilliant character developments

It's hard to rank each series when you watch them back to back but as a whole I will give it 10/10

On episode 6 I think of Squid Games, the one with the Glass Bridge

I'm really not finding it as good as others seem to be finding it. It's very tense, with the above episode extremely tense, but some things really take me out of it

- Some of the writing is dreadfull. The Rich Americans are just awful, with everything they say sounding like a School play. Im not sure if it's the acting or the Script (I am watching the Korean Dub with Subtitles)
- The whole premise is really lame if it's just all about some Rich club doing all this for excitement/gambling. Why would the VIPS turn up after missing half the show
- There better be a good explanantion into why people are all dressed/act the way they do, I fear this is just style over substance
- The slightly crazy woman is maybe one of the most annoying characters I have ever witnessed
- The North Korean girl is cute though

Like I say, haven't finished yet so some of my gripes might get resolved before the end.

Curb Your Enthusiasm season 10 - 8/10

A really good series with plenty of laughs. Some of the earlier seasons are funnier, but it's always good enough to keep me entertained. I find that as I get older I relate more and more to the Larry David "character" (I bet he's secretly like that in real life too), his lack of patience for the arbitrary social norms and rules is really quite appealing

Also finished Squid Game, which I'll give a 9/10. The ending was a bit iffy for me, but the rest was superb. I agree with Albear that the VIPs were awful, I genuienly think I could have done a better job. It was like they were doing an impression of how you'd think a rich American would sound in an anime or something.

Squid Game - 8.5/10

I guessed very very early on that the old man was in on it and that it was rich people betting. A great show with surprising amounts of emotion.

I agree with those above who said that the VIPs were comical, but I found it more amusing than annoying. As a satire on poverty/gambling/capitalism, I am happy enough that the rich banana splits were stereotypes.

I am guessing that there will be a season 2 as the main guy turned back. But mostly because we didn't see the cop die - shot in the shoulder and falling off a cliff is a 100% guarantee of survival in movies and TV. Especially if it's your brother that shoots you.

Squid Game - 7/10

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed watching it. But it was not fantastic like most people said and it was just good. There were some plot holes in the story and maybe season two will give us the answers.
