I think that if you were there watching it at the time, Lost can hold a very special place in people's hearts and minds. It was able to build a level of mystery and intrigue that few shows have, it fleshed out its characters very well and I wouldn't hesitate to call the first season excellent at worst.

Season 3 always seems to get a lot of stick too, but i actually really enjoyed it.

S3 is a tale of two halves; the first is very protracted, even for Lost, but the second half races along to make up for it.

The chats I would have on GR and here between each airing, discussing and reading theories, are definitely what means I remember Lost more fondly than what just my memory of the plot would allow. Being caught up in it all was fantastic, and I don't think I'll experience 'fandom' like that again - partly due to growing up and getting less absorbed in things in that way, and partly due to viewing habits changing.

Also, now that we're all a bit older, we have responsibilities that don't include reading up on the latest fan theories and rumours. :slol:

I do sometimes wonder what that Vozzek bloke is doing with his life these days.

57th best TV show according to our Eliminator from last year, in the esteemed company of other similarly ranked shows such as Pointless and Cowboy Bebop!

It'd have been our number 1 if they had paid Ash to do the theme tune.

Jack Names the Planets might work, there's a character called Jack on Lost isn't there?

Either way, massive mistake from J. J. Abrams there, could have saved the show from obscurity

Series 3 of lost is actually really good. There's some belter in there, some fantastic mystery and some great "Oh shiiiit" twists and reveals. The season finale has possibly the greatest reveal I've ever seen in a tv show. strawberry floating speechless after that.

"Girl From Mars" plays in the background as Kate walks towards Jack.

The Internet: "OMFG!!! SHE'S AN ALIEN!!! WE SOLVED IT!!!"

Lost series 1-5 will forever hold a joyous memory in my heart .

Series 6 and Jacob will be cursed forever throughout time and space.

Except the very last episode, which I also love :shifty:.

Slasher S2 - 4/10

Went into this with high hopes given how much I enjoyed the first season. This is a good example how not to do this sort of show - there is virtually no signposting* of who the killer is, or their motive, they're sprung upon the viewer literally at the very end. I had, in a way, guessed who was behind it (only by process of elimination), but not why, nor would I have guessed the twist because it's never even so much as hinted at. No wonder I felt completely lost throughout. A good whodunnit should give the viewer enough to figure things out, this did not.

The only good episode of season six is Ab Aeterno. All downhill from there.

Across the Sea. :dread: :dread: :dread: :dread:

Hey if the murderer appeared on-screen before the very last twenty seconds of the show it's a better whodunnit than Happy Town.

Slasher S3 - 7/10

This was better than S2. Story was more cohesive and featured a much better, more diverse set of characters.

I’ve finally finished Cobra Kai. It was amazing. I can’t wait for the next season.

The big fight was amazing, that must have taken so long film.

The drink driving though :fp: was it a running joke  :|

Crease looked amazing for someone his age.

The way the whole series leaves you conflicted as to who you should like and root for is amazing. So well written.

Johnny though 100% has to be main redemption hero.

Will the third season lead to Johnny and Daniel teaming up to take down Crease? However I assume Ali will return next season. Obviously this will cause problems.

9.5/10

This is a real thing in the US. They generally don't have pubs in amongst residential areas, so have to travel by car or taxi to a place to drink. The attitude to drink driving differs from ours in that we think drink driving = I may injure myself or others, I shouldn't do it. Theirs is drink driving = I might get caught and have to pay a fine but I'll risk it.

That's not really true. Their TV and movies seem to make it look ok, but the reality in the States is different. The penalties are just as severe as here (harsher in some States) and it's certainly not acceptable there.

Just finished the first season of Formula 1: Drive to Survive and I bloody loved it. Knowing nothing about Formula 1 before hand, one thing I wasn't sure about is how you decide who to 'support'. Is it the driver or the team?

Never been into Formula 1 (I think i've watched one race) but this has made me feel like i'm into it and would really enjoy it. But then it is a 1-2 hour race shown in about 3-4 minute clips which are essentially the highlights of the crashes and overtakes so maybe not.

Started season 2 this morning to get my fix.
