It’s not finished and so could still go horribly wrong, but the Watchmen TV series would be up there for me.

There are no jokes here what do you think this is, a fun way to talk about our favourite smallscreen entertainment media?!

I'm all about the jokes and upbeat TV discussion, moaning about things and pointing out the problems I have with shows is just too much like hard work.

Unless it's The Mandalorian obviously! ;)

Mine would probably be something like (also no specific order).

Breaking Bad
Bojack Horseman
The Expanse
Vikings
Person of Interest
Mindhunter
Boardwalk Empire
Chernobyl
Dark
Rick & Morty

Game of Thrones should have been there but the final season was terrible.

Honourable mentions

Justified
Into the Badlands - mainly for the excellently choreographed fight scenes
Black Mirror
Spartacus: Blood and Sand

So we're doing top shows of the decade eh, let's see...

Vermi's Top TV Shows of the Decade (in no particular order)

The 100
Game of Thrones
Desperate Housewives (ran until 2012)
Agents of Shield

I can only include what i've seen though, i currently have the full blu ray boxset of Breaking Bad on my table, but i haven't had a chance to see any of it yet.

Peter's top TV of the last decade with a top 3 at the top.

Fringe (just about sneaks in as while it started in 2008 it carried over into this decade. The best thing I watched this decade  .
The Expanse
12 Monkeys
The rest are in no order

Chernobyl
Game of Thrones (minus the last series)
Travellers
The Orville
The Ministry of Time (the Spanish series)
11,22,63

You may notice I like time travel shows :shifty: .

I've noticed on the gaming side you're often talking about the Future, now I know what inspires you. Were you born in the wrong decade?

I've just always had a fascination for sci-fi and fantasy.
I prefer the more upbeat versions of the future rather than the grim and grit we see today although I did love the BSG reboot as while it was set in the distant future and grim it was pretty down to earth in many ways.

I'd love to see the future as I think humanity will overcome the obstacles and things will be alright.

I'm really looking forward to the new Lord of the Rings series as it's about as close as I'm ever going to get to a proper D&D series and the reboot of the Dune franchise is going to be epic  .

Feels like the 00s had a better selection to choose from. There's very few standouts this decade IMO.

Breaking Bad
Better Call Saul
Chernobyl
Justified
Castle
Taskmaster
Black Mirror

Just off the top of my head:

Community
Breaking Bad
Better Call Saul
Watchmen
The Expanse
Chernobyl
Dark
Twin Peaks: The Return
Stranger Things
Mindhunter

A couple of those (BCS, BBB and Chernobyl are potential best of all timers)

Shouldn't shows of the decade start in the decade?

Lost in Space - Season 2 - 7/10

This is, objectively speaking, nonsensical shite.

But there’s something really damn likeable about it. The pace of it helps you ignore the ridiculousness and you just go along with the ride.

Currently making our way through S2 of You. It's really tangential, far moreso than the first season ever was.
