Just finished Cobra Kai, can definitely see there being only 1 more season with how it ended and what they’ve set up for series 4. Absolutely loved it though.

The Office (USA) - Netflix

> Season 1 - Pretty weak remake of the UK version. It's okay. [4]

> Seasons 2 to 5 - Great fun! The show really gets into its stride and the characters are excellent. [9]

> Season 6 - What on earth has happened?!? The show was fun in season 5... and then the style seems to totally change here. The jokes are coarser - or just plain dull - and lose the cleverness and charm of the previous seasons. The wedding episode(s) were just awful! [2]

I can't really be bothered to watch the rest of season 6 or check out 7, 8 and 9. Is this a mistake? Do things return to being decent?

It's definitely a weaker show in the later seasons, if you couldn't hack 6 I wouldn't bother continuing

Thanks, Jen, yeah - I kinda get the feeling that I'd be better off just remembering those seasons 2 thru 5 :-). I'll spend my TV time on going back to the Ozarks!

But yeah, the later seasons do have some excellent episodes, bit they're few and far between.

You should absolutely watch Threat Level Midnight before you move on.

I just looked it up - the seventeenth episode of the seventh season - so I will at least check that out, Drum!

I'm up to Season 3 in the office so far. The Gay Witchhunt episode is still amazing.

In America, it's on Hulu. Because everything is terrible here.

Are you ever tempted to move back (not that things are much, if any, better here)?

Leave the series there with the good memories you've gained.

Season 2 is utter bollocks, and 3 isn't much better.

Especially after Steve Carell leaves in Season 7.

I still enjoyed it, but the peak is undoubtedly seasons 3-5.

Yeah Carell leaving is the start of the real low point and they never really recovered from it. Will Ferrell's character :dread:

I agree that there is still stuff to enjoy in the later seasons but if Jawa is already struggling at season 6 then he may not benefit from pushing on!

Of course, but uprooting your life and relocating is a huge thing to do so it's kind of a last resort type event right now. Could happen, but it would take a lot to push me to do it.

Seeing as I'm stuck looking at the same four walls for two weeks, I decided to jump on the bandwagon long, long after it got where it was going: I've started Buffy.

That Angel lads alright, isn't he? :shifty:
