It doesn't really matter, but what's wrong with discussing various aspects of things? It's all in good spirits, no one is being harmed by the things being said and it talking about various different aspects of things is the whole point of a forum.

Well I guess ALTTP would be, forgot about that, but this is basically a handheld game. I now know what Nintendo are up to blurring the line between handheld and home console games. They can effectively release handheld games at full price!

It's pretty much the exact same price as the original, when you take inflation into account.

Could be worse, you could be getting stalked or something...

And you'd have to have been a right nugget to have paid £50 for it on release when there were plenty of places selling it cheaper.

YMMV?

As for mainline or not. They're basically all mainline aside from spin-offs like Crossbow Training. But even then I'd argue Triforce Heroes was a spin-off, but it's meant to be a direct sequel to ALBW

Definitely enjoying this more now and its a refreshing change from the full 3d titles. I do like the art style and although there aren’t many new gameplay innovations, it is quite fun to play. Best game on the switch for a long while and i hope we get similarly decent titles in the future.

Your mileage may vary. Hopefully not to the same extent as GF’s.

Near the end of level 8 and then on to the final battle. May collect all seashells beforehand.

Are you actually surprised that a title released 25 years ago doesn't have any new gameplay innovations?

I started this tonight. Despite my initial misgivings about the art style, after a couple of minutes I'd got used to it (context) and found it utterly charming  Im up to the bottle grotto.

The state of the frame rate in places though :dread:

Yeah the frame rate when leaving building's is really jarring. It's Grezzo's first HD game. Possibly related?

I’m surprised it hasn’t been patched out yet, think the one other minor issue has been patched out but would have thought nearly 4 months down the line they might have got it sorted.

Was I the only one to like Wind Waker when first shown?

I think it's telling now that the "adult"-style Spaceworld demo now looks like absolute pap whereas Wind Waker, even in its native GC form, still looks great. I'd argue that it still looks better than Twilight Princess, which is 3 or 4 years old. You could probably also make a strong argument for Wind Waker HD looking better than Skyward Sword too.
