Pretty annoying that this doesn't Quick Resume for me on Xbox.
Also, even more annoying that you can't skip that gooseberry fool "I need someone to show me my place in all of this" bit at the start.

Making Rey the main character :x

The problem with that line of dialogue is that it's a part of the title screen and not the introductary video. Why they made it like that, I have no idea, but the line at least reflects how the title screen opens. Still think it would have been better had each Episode got a title screen variation with its own piece of dialogue to open with.

I've played through I to IV now and IV is by far the best. Nice to see the game mirroring the actual movies in quality terms as well.

It's interesting as I think that platform format has became a factor in choosing download or physical. On Xbox, the rise of Game Pass has perhaps changed people's mindsets in favour of digital. On PlayStation, the cost of first party titles has maybe shifted people towards buying discs (I've returned to them after generally going digital on PS4) and, on Switch, the physical version is - at launch - often cheaper than a download.

Great joke during the episode 3 jedi purge cut scene. Anakin's graffiti on the temple - "sand sux!"

Nearing the end of episode 3 and so far I’ve only found one area that’s definitely sub par on the Switch and that’s Kashyyyk, pop in and poor frame rate made it not that enjoyable.

All the DLC is out now as well, spent a bit of time running round as Ahsoka with her twin lightsabers, a shame they don’t seem to have patched anything yet though, I’ve not encountered any major bugs so far but I’ve heard that there is quite a few, at least one which stops you progressing the story as well (Maz not wanting to talk in episode 7).

Edit, and with thst I find a bug :fp: In the Anakin fight I’m meant to switch to C-3PO and it won’t let me change from R2-D2, guess I’ll restart the level, luckily it’s a really good fight!

Edit 2, now on with A New Hope :toot:

I've 100% completed this now, with all achievements. I think that's the first time I've ever done that.

My kids are stuck on The Force Awakens chapter on the "friends of the resistance" mission, apparently it's a widely known bug when the game says "speak to Maz"

My and the missus avoided it, but it's completely bricked my son's progress :(

Anyone else encountered this?
Don't want to start over as he's out so many hours in already (and k stayed up until 4am maxing out his stud multipliers! )

I’ve no idea if the latest patch sorted the Maz issue or not, I’ve only just started Empire Strikes Back

The stud multipliers seem almost too good though, reckon I’ll only need to get the third one (I probably wouldn’t even need that really) and studs won’t be a problem.

I’ve come to the realisation that I probably won’t be getting 100% on this though, will go back and get everything on the actual missions but collecting all the Kyber bricks, characters and shops in the open world is probably a bit of a wasted venture when there’s that much other stuff to play  I’ll have still got my moneys worth once I’ve finished all 9 films and gone back to 100% the missions to me.

Yeah, with it being the biggest game yet, there's so much stuff to be hunting down. I'll certainly hit 100% some day, but I'm not rushing to get there.

And yes, the latest patch fixed the Maz issue. That was specifically mentioned in the patch notes.

I don’t read the patch notes if I’m honest  good that it’s been fixed of course.

We've clocked 50+ hours and are just over 600 bricks, so not getting 100% any time soon

Think I’m approaching 20 hours and just gone past 200 bricks, they’ve not exactly been my focus so far.

Yeah, I'm over 50 hours on the Switch version, and am just over 50%. It is absolutely huge.

I've bought it on PS5 for £40 digitally in the current sale. It's a beautifully shiny game, the music and sound ia amazing but the humour is the real star. It's such gentle and understated comedy, just fits the game so well.

Really happy with it so far. Also it's bloody huge

Wish my image sig would work

Been tempted to buy the PS5 version for £40 all weekend. I might crack before this week is out. Depends how quickly I finish Fallen Order.
