I only bought the game this morning and have only played an hour, but it is rather good isn't it?

This will probably get cheaper fairly quickly right? Want to pick it up but want to hold off a bit as well

That would depend on platform. On pc you can get it from GMG for £24 with the discount voucher.

Finally got around to setting up my Xbox One to play this and my Amazon pre-order codes are coming up as 'already redeemed'. Not Impressed.....

Surely that's an intentional reference? What with the "... for you" at the end.

Just finished this. Quick thoughts, amazing game up until the " Final part " just seems really rushed and just not in keeping with the rest of the game.
Really annoyed about the Tower and Black hand. I was hoping for some sort of epic fight. But nah a QTE and a cutscene.

Had a quick blast on this for the first time last night and managed to die twice hah. Got caught up in a mass brawl with about 15 and 2 captains. I'm new to pc gaming too so I was struggling a bit with the mouse and keyboard controls eg grabbing instead of executing and sometimes just wandering around in stealth mode in the middle of a fight :fp:

Plug in a 360 pad, jobs a good-un. I play this, arkham etc with a pad as this kind of game tends to suit them better. At least the option is there.

Yea that's what I'm gonna have to do. Think I've got one knocking about somewhere. Got a free copy of watchdogs with my motherboard and I'm thinking a pad would be the best way to play that too.

I used to play Arkham with a 360 pad but then I tried the keyboard and mouse which I found much better, especially controlling the camera while fighting and gliding. When I played this using a friend's Steam account, I only used the keyboard and mouse which I found great for it.

Finished this last night, just need to do the last trophy today to platinum it. The end was pretty disappointing

Just picked up a PS4 to play this.

There's been a couple of occassions at the beginning, when the game has frozen or stuttered during a cutscene. Is that normal?

A little paranoid my new PS4 is broken.

And my new favourite ability is... insta Caragor/Graug mounting :o  Along with double melee executions with the combo count on a piddly 5 -it made fighting in strongholds less stressful. Oh and scaring masses off enemies, even after the alarm has sounded, with brutalize is good too. (though that's down to a epic rune, I think)

Nope.

I have it on PS4 too and I haven't seen any of that.

Finally 100%'d it, that last trophy was such a pain in the ass to get a level 25 rune, I kept getting level 24 after following everything, then I got one and didn't get the trophy, each attempt took like an hour to set up! such a sad bastard.

Some of the late game powers in this are amazing.

Killing a war chief that was giving me stress by branding his bodyguards individually first and having all 3 turn on him while I cackle miles away was just the BEST THING EVER

Halp! End game spoiler: What do I do after I've branded the five warchiefs? Do I do the tedious looking blue skull missions or will the final main missions activate after I've helped the witch's daughter out? I've only completed their medicine mission so far.

edit: yup. needed to do the second witch's daughter side mission for the next main story mission to unlock.
