Going back to each floor to find the boos/missing gems-I love how there’s small little skits with the ghosts when you revisit them, like them drinking coffee at the cafe on the shop floor.

I just finished floor B2, and there was nothing wrong with it :? After all that talk of worst boss fight ever, I did it first try and quite enjoyed it. The overall theme of the level was great.

Completed in last night, great fun with some minor issues and rather obtuse puzzles...

Maybe should do some Mansion Mondays on here if the multiplayer is any good

I don’t like Floor 7 fellas. Too much dull grass to wade through, and I’m getting reeeeeal sick of the boss ghost and those spiky plants he creates. There’s one good room so far and that’s because it allows you to use a buzzsaw and get rid of all the grass. That room was superb though to be fair.

I'm only up to the Medieval themed floor (6 or 7 I think?)
Just rescued my first friend on the previous floor

That was a great mechanic, enjoyed that room a lot.

Don’t worry, the next floor is one of the best.

And done, all gems and boos collected. Clocking at 18 hours 40 mins.

Haven't given the online a proper go but think I'll take a break now.

At least the boss was good! And hard...

Unfortunately I won’t get onto the next floor for a bit - Pokémon and that.

I did floor 10 or 11 I think last night, the egypt themed one. Got some strong Mario odysee vibes from the large area in that.

I also discovered there's a Maaaaario button. Now I'm pressing that all the time

I did not know this information.

Question is, which is better
1. Press D pad to Maaaario
2. Press Y to honk

Oh I spent a while searching for it. Best bit of each game.

I’m fairly sure the goose is more terrifying than anything faced in this game.

I found myself pressing the “Mario” button a lot once I’d found it at as well. Just added to the charm of the game

I accidentally pressed the button after increasing the map size. After that I couldn't help myself pressing it all the time

I've just reached the 15th floor so I reckon I'm pretty near the end now...or am I? The game does a good job of chucking in little extra backtracking sections to pad it out a bit, so I wouldn't be surprised if there are a couple more to come.

While I've been enjoying it overall, and some of the little touches are excellent, I've found the quality of some of the levels a little inconsistent, and some of the bosses unnecessarily tricky due to how fiddly the controls can be when there's a lot going on. The Egyptian themed level was probably my least favourite, and the B2 level boss was pretty rotten, but levels like the Film Studio and Museum have been more than making up for them.

Dat Mario button

And finished :D

Really enjoyed the final section, the outside of the hotel looked amazing! The Helen Gravely boss battle fell into the needlessly tricky category mentioned earlier though.God bless those gold bones.

Finished this last night, overall it was a great game but a few bits that annoyed me stops this from being my personal GOTY.

Re: that boss battle

In co-op it would have been great fun but doing it by yourself was frustrating

Finished this last night. Damn that final battle went down to the wire with about a second left on the clock when ii managed to get the second bomb in Boo's mouth. Some sort of mirror mode new game plus would have been nice.

Wonderful game, only slightly spoiled by the cat padding bits.

Really enjoying this game having not played the first two. Up to Floor 10 and I’m a little stuck however - I’m in the Central Chamber (one with the big rolling stone balls) and have completed both the side rooms to progress further, but the sand isn’t being plugged to start filling the room up. Am I missing something or have I hit a glitch?

EDIT: Worked it out, that snake room is a right pain in the arse!
