It looks great. Unfortunately I can't get passed the Game Xplain criticism that the combat could just be steam rolled using the smash attack thing, eliminating any nuance from it. It seems odd that no other outlets have cited this issue, but I do trust their reviews as they are so thorough and always fully explain their reasoning.

Will see what general opinion is on here after it releases. It's a bit of a shame I won't take the risk though as it would have been fun to play on Halloween.

Nice, 86 on Metacritic. The 2nd game also got 86 while the 1st game got 78. So if we now get rid of the recent Nintendo bonus reviewers like to apply, Luigi's Mansion 3 comes in at around 6/10. Cool!

Got my pre-order with Base-doesn't look like it's dispatched yet-anyone know what they're like for meeting release day?

Mine has arrived, so far its good, controls take some getting used to especially the right stick and direction. Some funny bits but the usual from the luigis mansion series

If anyone has the digital copy preloaded for tonight/tomorrow just noticed theres an update for the game. Literally took seconds but all ready.
