Finished level 7 and I really liked it. Boss battle was imaginative as well (though a little finicky with the controls). This is well on its way to being GOTY.

Turns out ShopTo's system suffered some glitch that cancelled a number of orders and guess who was one of the lucky ones :slol:.

Got it reordered yesterday and delivered today. Will start it tonight and see if it's been worth all the hassle!

Floor 11 now. Difficulty ramps up a bit. Still floor 8 has been the best by far.

I don’t care for against a time limit when the controls aren’t perfect

I've just got the floor 8 button, 8 hours 44 minutes in. Enjoyed floor 7 so obviously in for a treat with 8.

Just got the floor 7 button, still enjoying it a ton even though the controls aren’t the best.

Just got the 9th floor button :toot: floor 9 looks like it should be good from my first view of it as well.

Anyway just to clarify one of my earlier comments regarding floor 7, it’s not that it was bad (boss was quite good, of a little fiddly) but after the previous few floors I was expecting it to just get better and better.

Am I the only one who seems to prefer the standard controls for this?

Currently on floor 13. So far I've really enjoyed the game. There has been lots of variety in the different floors and some interesting variation in boss fight mechanics. I do have some issues with the game such as control issues (particularly of floor B2) and the amount of backtracking, but these are fairly insignificant issues. Hoping to finish the game in the next few days but if I had to score it now it'd probably be a solid 8/10.

That boss battle on B2 was when the the controls really showed itself

I think an auto-aim for things like the plunger would be a massive help. Most of the time I am fine but it's the odd moment when the controls just do not seem to work for me. That said, i prefer playing in Handheld than docked, for some reason I have less issue with the controls that way.

It does have an auto aim at some points doesn’t it? Seems to aim for surfaces you’re close to that need the plunger attaching to it, or am I imagining it?

Agreed, definitely the most frustrating bit of the game so far for me. Which is a shame as the actual mechanics of the boss fight were quite fun and unique.

I thought it did at certain points, I think it might sort of auto aim if you hold the plunger button in? It’s not perfect though as it doesn’t seem to be consistent.

No it’s certainly not consistent enough to think there is a auto aim in place but it definitely seems to depend on the situation.

Just starting floor 10 anyway, definitely get the feeling I’ll enjoy this ones theme.
