Luigi's Mansion 3 (Switch) - 2019

Meanwhile I’ve spent ages exploring older floors, trying to mop up the gems. I’m missing one on 1, one on 3 and have just realised how to unlock the other half of 5.

Plot? What plot?

While I’m loving the game I’ve got little intention of going back to hoover up all the gems I’ve missed.

Floor 8 did not disappoint. I love this game, every boss is imaginative and fun.

What’s everyone’s playtime at currently? Last floor I done was the Castle and it says I’m a little over 4 hours

I'm on floor 8 and I think when I looked last night I was on around 9 and a half hours playtime.

B2 boss was annoying as fuck-I couldn’t get my head round controlling the inflatable, had struggled with it all level. I got there mainly thanks to the extra life none power ups.

I just completed Floor 10 (a rival with 8 for best so far) and my playtime is 10 hours 11 minutes.

I'm wondering if I've made a gem unobtainable on floor 8.

The one in an ice block in the central room the director sits in - I've just beaten the godzilla boss and found this afterwards. I assume you're meant to melt the ice block in fire, however, now all the film cameras have been knocked down and can't be used, and I left the burning torch in the box the big spider is in. I can't get back to it as it won't let me pull the door down unless you're in the movie. Anyone know if I leave the floor whether the torch will reset position (and remain lit)? Otherwise I might try and load a previous autosave.

Is there any point in collecting the gems?
I've picked a few up probably 3 per floor, do you actually get anything for getting all the gems?

Dunno but ive got nearly all so far and im on floor 11. All boos so far too.

But im a collector

Leave the floor and go back, all cameras should be back

Do you actually catch Boos in this one like in LM2? I’ve only found the one where you have them explained to you, tried to stun it but nothing happened? Tried using the dark light to no avail.

Yep. Dark Light them until they’re stunned, then hoover up their tongues. It’s quite funny.

Got to love smashing them boos

Well I feel slightly daft, was on the 9th floor not 10th :fp:

Now onto B2 though.
