...I’m not sure what to do with this.

Actually, you know what? Good onya Fisher for branching out. You obviously have a very small comfort zone and at least you’re breaking out of that somewhat.

Next step: responding to other people’s conversations? :o

I am enjoying this but dealing with the frankly horrendous controls on the floor 10 boss might be the point I give up. I know what to do but fighting the strawberry floating controller to point in the right direction is just not fun.

Have it set so the left stick points you in the direction you point it, rather than strafe.

Really enjoyed the final section, the outside of the hotel looked amazing! The Helen Gravely boss battle fell into the needlessly tricky category mentioned earlier though.God bless those gold bones.

Re: that boss battle

In co-op it would have been great fun but doing it by yourself was frustrating

That would have made much more sense :fp: But yeah, it just became a massive ball ache.

It was quite easy :slol:

When controlling Gooigi, switch back to Luigi whenever she came close and use the backpack boost to knock her back before moving away from the beams and switch back to Gooigi. There was also hidden hearts when you flash the bulbs that are lit up around the upper section plus you get some from the spiders below.

Back on this after bingeing Pokémon. I’m on Floor 8. :D

That bloody Ring-like well jumpscare was a rare moment of true fright in this game and I appreciated it, despite jumping out of my chair like the wuss I am.

Same

There's loads of movie references in this:

The Ring in the studio room like you say
ET on the bike in the studio room on fire
A balloon in the sewers on B2 for Pennywise from It
Godzilla boss fight obviously

Apparently it references Poltergeist to on the Shops floor with the stacked chairs, but I haven't seen that film

Went backstage and hoovered him up, which is sad enough - but I didn’t even let him finish his film, which otherwise you can watch later.

I have regrets.

Oh, I’ve still not had the heart to go back and do that yet!

What's worse is the little sad looking cheer he does after doing it. I went back quite late in the game to get him, you know, for the achievements :shifty:

You have a top experience awaiting you!

Since my last post I've made it to floor 13. There have been a couple of disappointingly short floors, which have been partially made up for by having some of the best bosses. 13F is good: I like it partly just because it feels like it might actually be seen in a hotel!

Just saved Toad and I'm enjoying this a lot. The colours gems are well hidden, but I'll go back and collect them all.
