Just got to the
pirate ship
. The rumble is insane on that level! Love it still.

Finished it, the final boss wasn't as bad as I'd been left to believe but I did use a couple of golden bones.

Lots of things to love about the game but I'll never be convinced the controls are any good, they are passable at best.

Did floor 6 last night, probably my favourite yet. Loved exploring the castle.

Questions about the Boos, do you need to buy the item from the shop in order to locate them?

Nope, the rumbling should guide you in the right direction, and they only appear in a floor a bit after you’ve finished it.

I'd really recommend at least doing the boos after completing the game. It's fun revisiting each floor and they also have the ghosts in amusing situations when you first return-two ghosts drinking coffee on the shop level for example.

I'm on Floor 15 now.

Have a break and will finish it off this week.

It's been brilliant and the last time I played Luigi's Manison was on GameCube which I loved.

I changed it to horizontal only because the bombs in the final boss would just fire into the sky if not

Did you try it with Don't Turn on though? That makes a big difference.

Is there any way to keep track of which floors you’ve caught the boos on? Can’t see anything.

You can buy Boos Locations from the Professor and check them in the map. There should be some Boos icons on each floor that you need to catch.

Or go to the Lab and check out the Gallery on the right to see which Boos you've caught.

Up to B12.

Each floor has been distinct and memorable, which will definitely give me the feels when I look back on it in the future. I'm really taking my time to properly appreciate each floor and to try and see everything. Clocked up somewhere between 15-20 hours.

just started playing this and everyone up to the piano boss fight was easy but I'm not getting on with the controls in this boss battle. Seems too fiddly to aim the bombs etc. Any tips for this boss and the controls in general? it does feel like this would have been a much better games it had better controls.
