Ended up too ill to do anything last night and stuck this on as a few people at work had been raving about it. Watched seven episodes in a row. Really enjoyed it, I like a lot of the characters which obviously helps. Luther & his curly haired little chum are both great, and i've definitely got a bit of a thing for Alice.

Decided to make this the next series to watch on Netflix with the wife. 10 minutes in and looks like it'll be our kind of show

Finished it last night, me and the wife binged on this over the past couple of weeks and really enjoyed all of the episodes. Elba was immense throughout.

Not sure how they could do a 5th series as the serial killer in the last 2 episodes was basically the craziest dress-wearing heart-eating lipstick-wearing nutter, how can they make a new villain that's scarier, crazier or more unpredictable?

Also so is Alice actually dead? No body or picture of her face being dead so I think she's still out there.

Also the pretend psychic lady was well fit

Would like to see a prequel film or series, as Luther's clearly already been around the block by the time series 1 started. Wouldn't want to see the female police chief again though, her accent was terrible. As was the American diamond criminal's.
