The only reason I don't buy Bench stuff is that they emblazon their name all over the strawberry floating clothing. Their stuff seems really comfortable and nice though.

I find TK Maxx sometimes have nice stuff, but they never have it in my size. :(

I buy work stuff from good ol' M&S. There suits are reasonable quality for the money and always look smart.

For casual my favourite shops are urban outfitters, republic, american apparel, topman and diesel. I occasionally get stuff in Primark too as its so cheap 8-)

This. Can't stand stuff with logos all over it.

It depends on the item, I tend to avoid the ones where it's like all down one sleeve or something, a small logo is ok. They're well made and good looking and comfortable though.

I used to buy Ted Baker stuff because my surname is Baker, and find creative ways to get rid of the TED and put AMY over the top of it.

Girls can get away with wearing boys clothes. Harder for men to wear womens

Back at College I used to be able to fit into my friends size 8 jackets. And she said they actually suited me :fp:

That's awesome!

I buy a lot of Ted Baker because they're sharp as strawberry float. Expensive though. I'm going to try and branch out into other makes of clothing when I do my next big shop, I think.

Best-looking stuff on the high street at the moment, IMO. They're doing an amazing black leather jacket at the moment; fat end of £300. Just wish I had more cash/wasn't saving up for a car respray and winter holiday.

Does anyone have any jacket/coat recommendations?

I recommend you buy one when the weather gets cold and wet. A nice Parker jacket will see you right.

On a more serious note, I spent £400 on clothes the other week, went to Next and found loads of nice things.

I wish I had that kind of money to spend on clothes. I need a massive clear out and a whole new wardrobe. I want to keep my band t-shirts, for when I go to see live music(that's all they're good for), and I want to keep the jeans I just bought, one or two of my shirts which are still good, and my gym/football stuff but other than that everything must go.

Mine was a whole new wardrobe shop. Gave 90% of my old clothes to charity. I needed to get clothes that actually fit me. All my clothes were just too big for me.

A long coat for work and uni, and a nice jacket/blazer for going out with. I'm on a shoestring budget though, sadly.

So I just read some of this thread and was shocked and horrified to discover that some people choose to wear a blazer out and about!

Why. It's a classic look.
