Yeah. I'll be very surprised if the Mafia kills him, since he'll probably be very good at confusing people. Still, I say sit on your vote until the Mafia makes their move.

They can't kill me, the closest thing we have to mafia in NZ is parking wardens 8-)

I vote for dark ritual.

Can we cut things like this out entirely? The Mafia will kill whomever you 'vote' for, you will be caught up in a whole whirlwind of suspicion, and the thread will become a mess with tireless accusations being thrown around concerning whether you are a naive citizen or a ballsy mafia member.

Happens in every single AYAW without fail. :fp:

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Yeah, citizens should hold off doing anything until there's a mafia kill. Sit tight everyone.

The plot thickens. Why don't you want him going out? An associate perhaps?

People of this, town, we can either sit back and let more people die, or we can act now and kill some of the mafia. You should all vote for dark ritual, he has "ring leader" screaming all over him. The evidence does not lie.

Cmanny's being suspocious, but only through lack of understanding logic, which is pretty much his posting MO.

There's no way the Mafia are going to be able to agree on a target for a "proper" mafia kill without leaving clues in the thread. Thus they're going to need to use the citizen's lynching as a method of killing off citizens. If we deny them this for now they will HAVE to start leaving clues to win the game.

I vote we do nothing. Let's be patient.

If you do that, the mafia will win, without ME everyone would just sit back, eat scwuns, drink tea and have a lovely afternoon. And then die in the night. And be thinking "Oh what a bother, oh well i'm sure those mafia are just a myth!".
Reminds me of that town in Hot Fuzz.

Now I won't sit back and enjoy my afternoon, oh no. I will sniff out Mafia scum, and I have a very good nose :x
If you want to win, you need me!

I kinda wish I was part of the Mafia now. Because I don't think anyone picked up on this:

I wouldn't waste my vote now, knowing absolutely nothing, anyway. And even if something comes up later, I have a party to go to, and I'll be out filling myself with coke. And rum. Stick me down as "no vote".

We'd totally have this game in the bag.

Well if Mafia really did mean good grammar then you would of been in the clear.

Anyway, Manny, can you see why it's best for the citizens to do nothing for now? I want you to tell me why I don't want to kill anyone until there's a Mafia kill.

It IS questionable, Denny could of killed himself, but I doubt coro would have. My point is they have killed. Why should we wait any longer?
Or do you mean we wait until a mafia dies? :? Im not a fan of waiting 50 years or so.

God Manny, you're are actually very silly. Pay attention, okay?

1)The kills last night were random. There is nothing that can be read into them.

2) The Mafia can only get a "proper" kill by all voting for the same person. They cannot PM each other.

3) This is very hard to do, so if I were a Mafia I would try to jump on the citizens' lynchings to try to kill off citizens. Right now the citizens have nothing to go on, so it would be very easy to jump on a bandwagon and kill off innocents via the lynchings.

4) I don't want them to do this, so I say we shut down the lynchings. Do not have a single lynching until there's been a proper Mafia killing.

5) Then we can go back through the thread and look for clues in peoples' posts to see who mentioned the now dead player. Then we have proper leads to go on for the lynchings.

Does that make sense now?

tl;dr edition: We wait until the mafia scores a kill, and then search the thread looking for clues, since the only way the Mafia can co-ordinate themselves to score the kill is publicly, in this thread. Therefore, going round screaming "KILL EVERYONE!" (like manny is currently doing) will just muddy up the thread.

Also, we could all just not post. That would help too. Or at least try not to post too much.

Why bother with the random killings though? Seems a bit of a dick move to let them kill people without any clues. What was the point?

Ask Herbi. Generally in mafia the first kills shouldn't be random, so you have something to go on, but whatever. That's the sitch so we should go with my plan;

No vote til a Mafia killing.

To get rid of Denny.

I really should read the instructions, but REAL men don't read instructions :P
It makes sense, but then it is very hard for the Mafia, how do they kill someone off, isn't it basically a guess? Otherwise they will have to say, "Oh boy, if I was mafia I would kill off so and so :shifty: "

But my point still stands, if we wait, we may have a better idea of the 2 remaining unidentified mafia, but there is a chance people will get killed in the process.
