If Nood voted for HM then I don't think HM is the final Mafia member. Same with PCCD.

So that leaves Mini E from the list I quoted of people who voted for Smurphy.

I was out drinking tonight, come back to find Smurphy dead :fp:

- I genuinely backed PCCD because i thought he might just be right - I think it could come back to bite us if we decide for 100% that the mafia is whoever voted to killl smurphy... Why would a mafia member bump someone off when it's so clearly going to make him look suspicious? Those who voted for nood are all experienced members of this place and have seen these games before. I'm just suspicious that one of them may have backed to kill nood, even though he seems to have been a mafia member, just to keep them well and truly away from suspicion.

If the odds are his partner is going to be lynched anyway- why not join the majority band-wagon? Surely it'd be EASIER for the final mafia member if he is alone because he doesn't have to look for clues from his partners? I know it's far-fetched... but still..

I could buy that IF the vote was a landslide, but it was very close throughout until just at the end when a couple of late appearances swung the vote. Therefore, probability dictates that the final Mafia member would have voted for Smurphy earlier on in the day.

Smurphy being the mafia kill was always going to throw suspicion on everyone who voted to have him offed in the lynch so it doesn't make any sense to vote for him. OK you've got the detective out of the way but that still leaves two or three people left to look at with more than enough time to bump them all off. Nood wasn't exactly doing the best job of defending himself and there was still suspicion around Smurph actually being the 'tec.

At the very least we can't write off those that voted for Nood as completely innocent.

Drummy, tell me who to vote for.

I'm voting for AJ because something just doesn't add up with him - I think PCCD was just wrong about smurphy - it wasn't anything more suspicious than that.

I'll say AJ as well.

Not wanting to back the ignorance squad, or anything, but I think it's important we start whittling down the suspects, and if I go against them, noone will die.

I'm going to go back through the thread see if I can find a majority today, lots of people seem to have chopped and changed so we'll see.

Sorted it out and majority currently exists so as things stand there will be a lynch. Players half 30 minutes to sway things.

If AJ isn't Mafia I suggest we at least have a wee look at everyone who voted against Smurph getting lynched, hedge our bets and all that.
