I saw Dodgers in LA last summer. Brilliant afternoon with the family. LA weather certainly helped though.

Ecno wrote:I am a huge fan of baseball. I lived in San Francisco for 9 months about 100 metres from the baseball stadium, so used to catch games after work, and follow it as much as I can here. I think I've been to 6/7 MLB stadiums and plan to add 2 more this year.

However, the thing which makes going to watch baseball good in the states, is the atmosphere, food etc. I can't see that be replicated in our heavy lager and pie focused stadiums.

I will still go to this however.

I am going to this.- Tickets weren't cheap though.

Also going back to Fenway and the new Atlanta stadium in the states. Giants continue to be a bit crap so not sure why I'm bothering.

Just tuned in following the football. No idea what’s going on but I’m sure I’ll pick it up.

Same commentator as on the NFL.

more US nonsense - they just showed a clip from the Yankees 27th World Series and the announcer said "the most championship wins of any team in any sport in world history" which i knew was nonsense - Juventus for a start have 35 league trophies. :fp:

It's been a great spectacle for the newcomers to the sport, if only every game scored this high

London Stadium looks great as a baseball venue, to be fair. If this becomes a regular thing I'll definitely try and get tickets.

Strange to have the main theme tune to this also be the same one FOX and Sky use for the NFL.

I’m guessing the stadium is going to be pretty empty by the end, as this looks like being a very late finish.

I didn’t realise this thing was cricket length.

most games are not this long - lots of batting drags out the game-time

Does a baseball game break out at every Neil Diamond concert, or just this one.
