You can play 4 player local.

But if you're using switches on a LAN (so like download play on a 3DS) you can't use more than 2 joycons per switch.

I was thinking of getting it digitally too, but at £50 they can strawberry float off.

The Wii U and 3DS eShops are updated at 14:00 (UK) every Thursday, Winckle... but for "big" game releases the titles become available at 00:01 (UK) on the day of release.

So, if the Switch release process matches that of the Wii U and 3DS systems, it should be available at 00:01 on Friday morning.

If you don't care which region you buy from, PC Game Supply have a 10% sale on eShop credit, so you can get $60 credit for £42.08 today.

£2.08 more than my Amazon order but worth it.

Alternatively Smyths are going to be doing MK8 eShop vouchers for £44.99 in store.

Having the best Mario Kart game ever now playable on a handheld is pretty huge for me.

Always find it bizarre the amount of criticism this release is getting as if it's the first time something like this has ever happened.

You don't count, it could be the exact game as is and you would be saying it was the best thing since sliced bread.

60fps 1080p docked is another good reason
