Had a great laugh tonight. Discord chat is so enjoyable with the people from here.

The question is how often do we continue doing this, do we stick with Mario Kart Monday or do we go for Mario Kart Monthly and do it the first Monday of each Month so people are less likely to lose interest?

It's tricky, Pedz! I like the Mario Kart Monday sessions and Rocket League Tuesdays were fun, too.

Maybe we could give it a go of bringing them back each Monday and Tuesday? See what numbers we get? Or... perhaps have a session every Monday, but alternate between Kart and Rocket?

Once a month might work out better, although if there were multiple games that people enjoy playing (I'm sure eight people could be gathered for a Smash Arena, for example) it'd allow the games to be spread out across the month with one game per week, but never the same game twice in a row.

So Mario Kart could stay first of the month, with Rocket League the second Monday of the month, then Smash and Splatoon being the third and fourth respectively. If other games had some interest in them, they could swap in for one of the other games.

Splatoon would actually require me to practice, did the single player, tried the online for a handful of matches then nothing.

I do like the idea of 4 different games spread over a month though, means people can dip in and out as they wish or play every time if they wish.

I'd be up for this if it became a thing. I'd need to buy Mario Kart, Splatoon first though. Always held off buying them for the Switch as I knew no one playing them

Mario Kart Mondays on Switch was a thing for about 2 years, maybe.

Edit: looking at the old thread people were playing it until at least April last year.

I'd be up for trying to play every Monday.

Thursdays at 8pm also work for me so I'd be keen to take part of one of the other games being mentioned is scheduled for then. It would be a good chance to get into Splatoon 2 as I've barely touched it :oops:
