Mario Kart Mondays on Switch was a thing for about 2 years, maybe.

Edit: looking at the old thread people were playing it until at least April last year.

I had a huge hiatus from gaming (close to 3 years) after the little one was born. Only just getting back into swing of things.

Think I've missed out on so many good games there's too many to catch up on.

Personally, I like the idea of Multi-Monday (Multiple Multiplayer games on Mondays) where 1 week we have MK, the next RL, then Splatoon then Smash, or something like that. It'd mean the games are spread out enough to not feel like they are too regular, but there's still multiplayer session once a week.

Which game for the upcoming Monday, then?

I'd be up for Mario Kart and Rocket League, not got Splatoon so would give that one a miss, but it's always fun playing with the folks on here.

I like the idea of a different game every week as well, I have MK8, Splatoon 2 and Smash so can join in games of those

Just been looking through the highlight reels of the night and fine-tuning them to get some great scenes of the action. Quite a few nice shots as well, but I still wish we had greater control over the camera positioning and such.

You've been waiting, and I can now provide.

Twelve races of hectic action provided, with those races being swapped around a bit in terms of order to present a better transition. Also, I turned the music down a bit too much, so on some of the races you can just barely hear it through all the sound effects.

I'd say this is a good way of doing things. Depends on who else is up for some Splatoon on Monday.

Pedz, that seems to be a good approach. I can play Kart and Rocket, but I sold Splatoon and don't have Smash (I'd watch the stream for those sessions, though).

Multiplayer Monday sounds good, I didn’t make the Mario Kart session in the end but I’d be up for all those games if I’m about.

I’ll be about to jump into some Splatoon 2!

Wouldn’t be jumping into Rocket League or Smash as I don’t have those but I could be tempted for some Splatoon 2, not played it in ages though!

Thanks. MKTV has many surprises to give when it wants, and I'm happy to have found quite a few of them. There were a few shots I would have liked to use, but were lost upon changing settings. That's one reason I'd like greater control in the next game.

I've revamped the opening post. It's not jawa levels of quality, but it'll do.

Yeah great job Pedz. I'll be up for the Mario Kart and Rocket League sessions but would watch streams of the others if the option is there!

Only other comment from me is that other than RL which has cross play this Multiplayer Monday is entirely Switch based. Now that makes sense as we have history of lots of folks joining in for Switch multiplayer and when trying to get this off the ground it definitely makes sense to put your best foot forward, but I just wondered whether we wanted to get some polls going or investigate any other way of canvasing opinion for other games/platforms that could join the rotation?
