It's just people jumping the gun because they said there would be further updates to the game in a NoA interview with a Mr. Takahashi.
Said updates could just be when more Labo stuff like the car arrives, but people really want to think more DLC is coming.

Ahh that’s disappointing. I was hoping for one more cup themed around BOTW and Odyssey. Don’t really care much about new vehicles/skins.

I feel bad that I haven't joined in or promoted the Monday kart session over the past month. There has been a combination of things* that have kept me away, but I will definitely be returning soon. Tonight is the final night of the Doctor Who Twitch marathon and, from next Monday, I plan to put Kart back at the centre of my Monday night schedule.
I'm glad to hear that some of you have still been playing and enjoying / hating ( :lol: ) the action... see you there soon :-).
