So tempted to spring for MK8 Deluxe while it's 1/3 off. Hmmmm.

Hey, Lime! Yeah, I had the game and the DLC on the U and bought Deluxe for the Switch. It's a relatively minor upgrade but the graphics are sharper and it's 60 FPS. You get the inclusion of Battle Mode, too. The gameplay remains tremendous fun, of course, and at the current discounted price it offers good value, IMHO.

Hopefully we'll get Mario Kart Mondays running again as - for me - that was tremendous fun :-).

Denster, the official Pro Controller is currently £49.95 at Amazon - go pro.

Just mentioned it in the switch thread, but I've just read that the n64 controller can be used on this! Look forward to giving that a go later.

Yep. Had it on Wii U with the DLC. I didn't want to get it on Switch, but I just had too many instances in life with friends and family where they wanted to play Mario Kart, so I buckled and bought it pre-owned. I've gotten about 130 hours out of it, definitely been worth it. The extra characters, double item block, pink drift boosts, and removal of fire hopping really improves the game.

For £50 (£10 more then I bought the original at launch I might add) I'd expect more. Should have contained at least 2 more cups worth of new tracks.

Use the nintendo life code to purchase eshop credit, and you get 10% off. Brings the game down to about £30...... I am right on the edge!
