Listen Denny I'm gonna be honest, I called you a banana split for picking the random that got us to Grumble Volcano. That was awful.

Some fun, furious racing this week. And another point for my wish to edit the camera angles in MKTV. Some great item usage that the game just does not want to grab the best angles of. Ah, well. Next game. I very much doubt.

The leaderboard is certainly looking a lot more consistent now, not too many changes happening these past couple of weeks. I'll do an announcement after the 10th week, draw the line so to speak.

Also wondering whether to remove Stacy since they've only shown up once and don't even have an account here. Keepin it GRcadian. Thoughts?

Stacy is an absolute karting beast! He used to play in the Mario Kart Monday sessions pretty regularly although I dunno how he knew about the event; presumably stumbled across the details here as I don't think he knows any of the folk.

Maybe give it another week or two to see if he joins again?

I think Stacy found out through one of Pedz streams of us playing, and Pedz hasn't played with us for a few weeks now.

Grumble Volcano is among my favourites also. I like how the track gets more precarious after each lap and its thematically one of the more unique, but I'm also conscious of varying tastes and repetition when it comes to voting which track to play on.

When are the next set of DLC tracks coming?

Nintendo haven't said, but if you work out even timing between waves over the period they've said (Mar 22 to Dec 23), it works out at 4 months between releases or so, so mid July is a good bet.

July does seem the right time for the second wave. Although I'm still hoping the third is mid-December so I can say Nintendo are giving me a birthday present.

I may have my joycons repaired by Monday

so if I'm out I should still be able to join in

Handheld karting for Tsunade! I'm sure it will be great for you to get back to smooth operating with no chance of drift whatsoever.
