I'm looking forward to trying out my new kart setup, and facing the crushing reality that it really was down to my own ineptitude the whole time.

I've sorted out my "drift" problem. Turns out it wasn't my joycons. It was the motion controls :fp:

I didn't realise I'd turned them on! :fp:

turned em off now and I'm all ready for tonight!

If only the game had a settings menu that could lock your choices so you never accidentally turned something on/off. Or better yet, a Theme Hospital style announcement when you turn them on.
