We brought this up, actually. We agreed that the MK8 version of Baby Park is inherently inferior to the DD version because the central island now has barriers along it, and the chaos of the character specials like the Bowser shell was what made that track fun.

I'm hoping they bring older items like that back with the DLC!

I'd love to see that! With a cast of this size, maybe they'd make them random specials, as opposed to being tied to specific characters like DD?

We didn't get to tackle that "sandy" track (I forget the name of it) last night. Hopefully it'll pop up next week .

That would be epic, here's hoping they add that in, it would be great to see! I miss some of those items, DD brought in some of the best imo!

I very much doubt any new characters or items will be coming with this DLC. That's one reason I would have wanted a new game. A new item balance with new items. I also really hope that a new game does bring character-specific items with it. They were fun with Double Dash, but I guess there's so many characters now that balancing such would be even more of a nightmare.

Dry Dry Desert, that's the one, Tsunade! Originally I really disliked the track but, after a few plays, I slowly got into it. I kinda get the impression that not too many folk like it!

Oh! Hang on! I think I may be getting mixed up... I was originally wondering about Dry Dry Desert (thanks, Tsunade!) but I *really* meant Cheeseland! I recall you raging over it, Pedz, and at first I wasn't keen on it, either... but I grew to like it .
