I have a feeling I'll want to check this out, but I don't think it'll be seeing much playtime. Much the same as 'mon Masters on Thursday.

It's quite fun to see the Double Dash character-specific items back, but it does make me wish such items could come back for the main games as well. I always enjoy trying out the new tracks and seeing what differences there are between remade traacks and their original versions, and I'm hoping we at least get the standard amount of tracks for this game.

If a mobile game has in app purchases, it isn't worth playing.

Well, if any mobile game has microtransactions in it, I never touch them anyway. If I like it, I'll continue playing, and will do so until progress is getting stilted too much 'cus it wants you to make that purchase.

It's sad to see you value your time so little.

You do know there's only ever been two games that have got that much attention from me right? And both of them were Power Rangers games? And that was only because there isn't [or wasn't] a single good Rangers game on a modern system that I could have been playing instead? Maybe that would have been helpful information to give.

As I said, I doubt I'd even get much out of MK Tour, and even 'mon Masters, but I'm at least willing to give them a try.

So Diddy Kong made it in this but is still absent from MK8?

Not a fan at all of the slidey, drifty controls.

The controls are weird, that's for sure. Sometimes you can't even turn without using an item accidentally, and the turning itself feels completely random when in a drift. Sometimes you can pull to the end of the screen and your driver won't widen out the drift, other times you'll have barely swiped along the screen and suddenly your driver's doing the widest drift possible. The aerial controls just do not feel as if they want to respond at times, as well. I could do a test with the gyro controls, but I don't feel that's really worth it.

Overall, it serves its purpose, but I would never suggest anyone try it who has already played a Mario Kart.

Yeah, you have to use an item when doing a jump boost which is rubbish
Anyway, completed the first four cups and topped the online leaderboard whatever that was.

Jump boosts are automatic. Stop wasting your items.
Not that it matters, as you get points for using them, anyway.

Had a go with gyro. It got turned off during the race I was trying it with. What even is that implementation? Does it even work?
