“What better way to celebrate than by firing something out of a pipe?

Innit, though.

I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.

Yeah, I'll put myself in the pipe and fire myself out of it like I would on Sea of Thieves with the cannons on my ship so I can get a good view of it sinking into the depths of the ocean, even if only for a few seconds before I drop down into the depths myself.

I have a feeling that's a metaphor for how I feel about this game.

I've played a couple of cups, and while it's a far cry from the main games, I'm quite enjoying it as a way to kill five minutes.

The controls sucked gooseberry fool at first, but turning off manual drifting, steering assist and gyro controls made it vastly more playable.

Played a cup won all 4 races, it's alright nothing special, controls are crap and it looks like there's a lot of micro transactions involved in getting karts and characters.

It's not too bad once you adapt to the controls. They aren't great though, but it's free when all is said and done.

This is out a week now, anyoine still playing? I have to say Im quite enjoying it, its just enough lke Mario Kart ot scratch that itch and its just playable enough without purchasing things to make it enjoyable. So far anyway.

Still been sticking with it. There's fun to be had with it aiming for all five stars on the races with just the basic setups.

One weird thing Ive found is you can 5 star a race even comeing 4th or 5th as long as your score is high enough.

Played quite a few more cups over the past few days now and still not very keen on it, the microtransactions and monthly pass thing is a complete joke. Back to the proper Mario Karts I go.

I’ve played it once and hated it, looks alright but plays terribly. I have even less incentive to play it more when I can just load up Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and play on the go on my Switch.

This is quite addictive. At first I hated the controls but now on my commute I can smash out a cup pretty easy & I don’t really think you need to spend a penny in all honesty unless you can’t wait to grind to unlock certain things. I got the New York Mario yesterday so was pretty pleased that I didn’t have to pay.

Yes, I've been playing a bit every day. It's fun enough
