Perhaps you’re just tired of the zombie trope

I think I'm just not that into marvel stuff. I've watched all the films, well two behind at the moment, but I never feel like going back. I'm just like that was pretty good, and then move on.

Fair enough

Didn’t enjoy the Zombie episode of What If? at all, feel like the series has been pretty hit or miss so far to me at least.

I haven't watched the last two. It's just not very good.

I've only seen the first one, it was decent but felt very "fluff piece"

Also I couldn't understand why Bucky kept making really random jokes all the time, usually about fish

I found the first one probably my least favourite. The voice acting seems to be more jarring in it and the deviation from normal storyline is fairly minimal. I've enjoyed 2,4 and 5 considerably more (3 was good too).

So Shang Chi was damn good.

I'm always happy to see new blood entering the MCU, especially when it's done as well as this.

It's not perfect, but I really enjoyed it.

My main issues (Though they are relatively minor) are...

It decends into a CGI-fest a bit towards the end, where visually it becomes really noisy and it's hard to discern what exactly is going on in some shots. It's not too bad, but I did find it a bit distracting.

For a movie that had some pretty good fight sequences I think it would have been better to have the big CGI Dragon fight first, THEN bring it back down to a more intimate 1-on-1 fight with his Father.

But those are small niggles for me in a movie that I otherwise really enjoyed.

Especially want to call out how much I loved....

Trevor. I'm not sure if I'd had it spoiled or not, but I very much expected him to show up and he didn't disappoint. I do think I liked him more in Iron-Man 3 and "All Hail The King", where he had a bit more edge to him, but I could watch Ben Kingsley play that part forever.

Wong Vs Abomination. I really want to know more about what's happening with Blonsky these days. But this was a nice, fun scene.

Michelle Yeoh always pleases and she was no different here.

Awkwafina was just the right balance of zany and funny without overpowering the movie.

End Credit stuff was really interesting, if not massively exciting. Do we have any ideas or speculation as to who/what the Rings are signaling?

Just started watching What If...

Hayley Atwell being transformed into an Amazonian super soldier is definitely going to awaken things in me.

ikr

probably blew the FX budget judging by some of the ropey CGI in places so went with Banner to save some money!

Yea, I'm also not getting on that well with the What If series. Watched 1, 2 and 4, and 1 was fine, 2 I turned off and 4 was alright but nothing special.
