I've just had a possible stupid thought regards No Way Home

would the spell mean that everyone has forgotten that Peter Parker is Spiderman in every universe? So no one knows Toby Maguire's Spiderman is Peter Parker in his universe for example?

no the spell only affected the main world. it was cause the first spell went out of control that it started pulling in people from other universes

Finished Hawkeye last night. About par for these Marvel series I think, really solid but nothing spectacular. Thought the first few episodes set it up really well but it just kinda became generic Marvel. Introduction of King Pin in the final episode was fantastic though.

So I just opened youtube and before I went to sign in, my eyes glaze over a thumbnail of Andrew Garfield holding Mary Jane, presumably having saved her from something.

Honestly, strawberry float people who whip out their phones to take videos during movies - strawberry float them all to hell and back.

If What If is canon then that means it’s feasible that Killmonger can come back. Both of his appearances have been understated brilliance that I didn’t appreciate at the time.

I could see this happening, I’m guessing the events of Multiverse of Madness will bring a lot of elements from What if into future movies.

Another how wrong Robbo-92 was post incoming,

Just watched Shang Chi and thought it was fantastic from start to finish, loved seeing Ben Kingsley back in it too! Disliked his character in Iron Man 3 but thought it worked a treat in this film.

Question of the day, how does everyone rank the MCU'S trilogies?

1. Captain America
2. Spider-man
3. Thor
4. Iron-Man

I think

I think you're right with Cap at one, all three of his films are good and Winter Soldier is top tier. Spidey is a close second for me with Iron Man in 3rd and Thor bringing up the rear (even though Ragnarok is one of the best MCU movies, 1 is only OK and 2 is probably my least favourite throughout all the phases).

I've been making my way through the films from the start, save for The Incredible Hulk as it isn't on Disney, and having just watched The Winter Soldier I think the Captain America trilogy is best for being so much more central to the MCU. In a way though it's a shame Civil War ended up being more of a mini Avengers film than a proper cap on the trilogy.

Also, Phase One is quite rough viewing a decade on at times but is at least a lot easier to keep a track of since it's still a narrow roster. The character of Black Widow got royally screwed over though. It's easy enough to forget that she was the third Avenger to appear overall considering she's only ever been bounced around as a supporting character. Imagine the Black Widow movie being released at a more suitable point in time.

I've only just watched Thor: The Dark Age for the first time the other day. I actually think there's a nugget or a great film hidden away somewhere in there, maybe even something to rival Winter Soldier. It's just an unfortunately meandering dull mess of a film.

I haven't rewatched IM2 since release, but isn't she also terribly written in it?

Someone near the front of the cinema kept trying to take a picture of the screen... multiple times... with maximum flash :fp: It was a little irritating.

I heard about a funny meme basically asking why didn't Dr. Strange just cast a spell to make Thanos forget about the infinity stones.

Also I have a theory that the dog from Hawkeye is Nick Fury from another universe.

They kind of have an easy get out with Dr Strange shenanigans because they can just say him making Thanos forget was one of the 14m possibilities he saw and they didn't "win" for whatever reason

The thing about these MCU trilogies is that theyre not really trilogies. Ironmans story spans significantly into Civil War, and both Ironman and Captain America conclude thier arcs in Infinity War / End Game. Similar to Thor, with very big character development in IW/EG - but his story isnt yet concluded. No Way Home is also the culmination of 5 other films. For me this phase (including spiderman) is too intertwined to be separated, but the answer is Captain America, Spiderman, Thor, Ironman.

Even the biggest Marvel fan might think 14m episodes are a bit much.
