strawberry float's sake I've just seen it via a poor quality pirate copy today because I wanted to be able to read this thread and didn't want to spend money at the cinema.

Anyway, Doctor Strange was ok but I was hoping for more.

I've no idea who Black Bolt is, but it was great seeing Professor X, Mr Fantastic and Peggy Carter. I'd have liked more cameos though! It's a multiverse owned by Disney and established you can be "paint". They should have gone wild with some of the IP they own. Chuck in Indiana Jones, R2-D2 and Aladdin!

I liked the horror elements though, hopefully it scared the gooseberry fool out of some kids.

Black Bolt is leader of the Inhumans and a character who has some really strawberry floating cool moments in the comics but who was disgustingly underserved in the absolutely horrendous Inhumans show they made a couple of years ago.

Him showing up was a nice nod to that awful, awful show.

Plus the way Wanda dealt with him was fantastic.

But yeah, the more I reflect on MoM the more I convince myself that it wasn't quite as good as it could have been. Still love it though and after NWH and Shang Chi it's probably the best MCU movie since Endgame (At least for me).

Looking forward to watching it again on my current re-watch.

I didn't dislike it, it just left me feeling like it could and should have been much more. If you call it "Multiverse of Madness" then go all out on the madness.

I feel like the Madness part refers to one specific character though, to be fair. :shifty:

Yeah, but a double meaning would have improved things immensely.

I wanted cartoon Mickey Mouse fighting Iron Man (played by The Rock). Wong moaning about not being bowed to was fun, but it wasn't Obi-Wan Kenobi hooking up with Buzz Lightyear.

Reminds me of Scott Pilgrim in many ways. They completely nailed the feeling of the comics though. Probably the best MCU show so far.

Has anyone ever cared about Wonder Man? Dear me.
Just skip ahead to the X-Men already.

It really is.

Such a well put together show. Likeable characters, well paced without too much fluff, hits on a number of themes in a thoughtful way without overdoing it, and all wrapped up in a really nice, uplifting tone. And brilliant art direction too.

I feel like I'm not quite the audience it is primarily aimed at but I'm still really enjoying it for what it is.

Also, these more low key things suit the D+ format far better than the big action stuff. I hope it doesn't descend into that.

I'd much rather get a movie version of Wonderboy.

I'm just glad they're expanding the universe and adding more characters to play around with. Also who gave a strawberry float about half the cast before they appeared in the MCU, the MCU is making people care about characters like Hawkeye so hopefully they can do the same with Wonderman.
