At the end of the series Wanda has to enter an irradiated chamber to activate a machine to save Sokovia. Bruce Banner is there as the Hulk, impervious to the effects of radiation and clearly capable of doing the task himself, but he just stands outside and watches Wanda die.

Uh, I think you'll find that following the events of the Infinty War/Endgame saga, as loosely adapted from the six issue The Infinty War limited series but more closely borrowing the plot points from the earlier series The Infinity Gauntlet, The Hulk was left with significant damage to his body caused by attempting to control the combined power of the Infinity Stones and so it is entirely plausible that he would be unable to withstand the radiation required to deactivate this device.

It's actually a bigger sacrifice for Hulk to stand there and do nothing than it is for Wanda to die in front of him as he has to confront his own weakness and limitations in a way that he has simply never had to before now.

Love it and can't wait for next week.

Purely from the ads for it, I think it looks terrible.

Certainly doesn't make me want to watch it (or fork out for Disney+, not that anything could for that matter, they've literally nothing of interest to me).

Fair enough I guess.

The first two episodes are quite slow if you're expecting much in the way of "what's going on?". They are almost like stand-alone episodes of some weird lost sitcom and so far have focused more on that than they have on the overall arc for the series, though there have been plenty of small breadcrumbs and hints. I'm hearing episode 3 is the first one that really starts to fill in some of what's actually going on.

Final 4 films down. Antman and the Wasp is a fun enough adventure but the comedy is all pretty vanilla the central story and villains are very forgettable and it doesn’t really develop much on the original bar the addition of the Wasp which is nothing special. Infinity War and Endgame are spectacular, I’ve said plenty of times elsewhere. IW is clearly superior for me though being the non stop rollercoaster ride that it is with great comedy, action, strawberry float yeah and shocking moments. Endgame just doesn’t quite tie together as neatly and there are some logical inconsistencies for me, the Portals is a brilliant moment to cap 10 years to though. Spiderman Far From Home is another one that my opinion I think is a bit off kilter with consensus because I’m just a bit indifferent to it. Really not sure what it is about these Spiderman films, I love him in the wider universe but these solo outings I just bounce off a bit, maybe it’s character fatigue. Final order of preference...

Avengers Infinity War
Captain America 3 Civil War
Guardians of the Galaxy
Thor Ragnarok
Avengers Endgame
Captain America 2 Winter Soldier
Iron Man
Avengers Assemble
Spiderman Homecoming
Black Panther
Captain America
Ant Man
Avengers Age of Ultron
Dr Strange
Spiderman Far From Home
Iron Man 2
Captain Marvel
Guardians of the Galaxy 2
Thor
Ant Man and the Wasp
Iron Man 3
Thor 2

Time for adventure

Honestly apart from bumping up the first Cap, maybe Homecoming slightly and Doctor Strange, there’s not much to disagree with there. I unapologetically love GOTG2 but I’m aware this is mostly down to Kurt Russell’s beard.

EDIT: would probably also have BP a little higher but hey, it’s all good man. I don’t think there’s a massive gap in quality between any of the top ten.
