I dunno, maybe it's just they're relatively obscure but I'm not excited for it. I'm sure it'll be fine, but it's not high on my list of anticipated marvel stuff.

Lets see if they can pull off another Guardians with it.

Rumour is that when they saw the rough cut, the Marvel high heid yins basically shat themselves with glee because they think they've got potential Oscars on the cards here. Chloe Zhao winning big this year won't have harmed that too much either.

Not in a million years is an MCU movie winning a main award at the Oscars. But if this ends up being Jolie milking a yak and then shitting in a bucket for 2 hours, I may be wrong.

Neither Eternals or Inhumans have any recognition/awareness in the mainstream so it's really a blank sheet of paper for them to do whatever they want as far as the general movie going public are concerned

I have only heard of Inhumans because they were in Agents of Shield (I never bothered with the Inhumans show). Until the movie was announced, I'd never heard of the Eternals (other than Louise).

It's not a bad thing though, I'd never heard of Guardians of the Galaxy before the movie and that turned out great.

They were nowhere to be seen when Cap needed help, so why should we watch their goddamn movie.

Absolutely if anything the relative obscurity of these characters could well be their greatest asset and give us another great "holy gooseberry fool who are these guys? This is great!" moment ala Guardians.

That trailer was awesome. I know nothing about the Eternals at all but give me a race of superbeings who have been watching for millenia and make them cool and I'm all the way the strawberry float in. I love that story beat.

Good trailer, I was going to ask if this exists in the same universe as the other Marvel films but they answered that at the end of the trailer

Was it just me who spent most of the trailer wondering why bucky was there only to realise afterwards that it was richard madden not sebastian stan? those two could legitimately be twins
