I found her bro might be one of the funniest lines I've heard in ages.

Very good, really so like the chemistry between the leads as well.

One thing that did occur to me during the bell tower scene, given how easily the Tower went down she probably did them a favour and saved them from a lawsuit next time someone rang the bell

It's not just you. Doesn't help she's played by Norma Bates.

Did you also spot the clunky reference to head of organised crime in New York?

I think I missed that as I was drinking wine while watching but I did notice they brought up again that Stark had sold Avengers Tower.

Can't imagine who that buyer is going to be.

Yeah I'm being reserved in hope and after the Mephisto stuff, but it seemed a really clunky line

Speculation : D'Onofrio seemed to be heavily hinting on Twitter he was in the Hawkeye show. And Echo's in it and her whole backstory is tied up with Kingpin. I will be more surprised at this point if he doesn't make an appearance.

Setting up King Pin in the MCU as an actual important character would be great. Rumour has it he's going to be in Spiderman too leading the sinister 6.

Hawkeye not really in the amazing category at the moment, I think we have been wowed too much by Loki. It’s good and shows promise though.

PLAY | Persona 3 Reloaded [3h]
WATCH | Ted Lasso S3, HiJack S1, Red Dwarf S4, Dexter S2

There're lots of half-minute Spiderman trailers (adverts) recently put on Youtube, including a fair bit of new footage. I'm not invested in it enough to be bothered about spoilers, so have been lapping them up. Looking forward to it!

Finally watched Black Widow, I really wasn’t expecting much to be honest and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it, not as good as the really good Marvel films but still a pretty good film, felt very CGI heavy towards the end so I’m not sure if that was a byproduct of COVID or not? Will try and watch Shang Chi tomorrow.

How is Eternals anyway? Obviously spoiler free if possible but is it worth going to the cinema to see? Or shall I just wait till it’s on Disney+ ? I’ve not seen anything about it really so not sure if that’s a good or bad thing……. I’ll definitely be going to see Spider-Man 3 at the cinema as I’m really looking forward to that one.

Eternals is alright. If anything it’s a bit too long, and it’s basically a Marvel version of DC’s Justice League. Three of the members is a copy of the JL counterparts. It’s a solid 7/10 film.

I liked Eternals, it felt different and the inclusion of a deaf actress in a way that felt right for her character and the story was lovely. The design of the Celestials and their basically being Jewish Golems was awesome, too. Just a really good watch. I recommend.

Ending spoiler:

The white guy throwing himself into the sun rather than do the right thing was hilarious.
