So many Uncle drops

That off-screen chuckle at Echo's karate match was 100% D'Onofrio.

I also thought the Fat Man Auto shop was a nod to Kingpin

The charity gala and auction in the first episode also takes place at his home.

Desperate for it to be not a rebooted version of Kingpin, or a least something in between. Great that they are clearly going to continue using the same actors, but is there really anything that they can't just either ignore or gloss over without making them totally different characters?

Pretty much any TV Show or movie can be watched in isolation from anything else in the MCU. You will miss out on easter eggs and some deeper character building but that's about it. The main plot of the thing you're currently watching should be able to be followed.

Hawkeye is the best Marvel tv has been so far. I think this might be Jeremy Renners best performance too, the call with his son was heartbreaking.

One thing I’m curious about Marvel tv is why the sound mixing is so strawberry floating dogshite. You have to Jack the volume up to absurd levels to hear anything and without subtitles it’s near enough unwatchable unless you’re viewing in sealed soundproof room.

You do realise that was intentional in episode 3?

I think it’s just modern sound mixing, Herbi.

I had to turn subtitles on too. It's mostly Renner's mumbling but Steinfeld can be bad.

Hawkeye is great so far but don't know why they felt the need to give Hailee Steinfeld contacts, finding it constantly distracting.

No Way Home advanced screenings apparently starting soon so if you're like me and you're waiting until the film is available on Blu-ray or VOD- have fun. :simper:

But is it going to be D'Onofrio's Netflix version or a new one?

If they don't get D'Onofrio then they will have made a huge mistake IMO.

Sorry, I'm assuming it will be D'Onofrio. I meant will it be a continuation of the Netflix version, though?

I'd just leave it ambiguous if I were them, at least for now. We don't really need an explanation as to how, or if, it all ties in yet
