Apart from the big cloud Galactus, I enjoyed the silliness of the second FF movie. The rebooted one which the studio cut to death was very poor though.

I just want a big screen version of Galactus done well, an ongoing threat over multiple movies like Thanos.

It'll be the 3rd attempt at doing one in 20 years. Maybe they'll put out a decent version this time.

Both made a decent profit. But they were not made by Marvel/Disney, they were 20th Century Fox movies.

Watch The Bear, Ebon Moss-Bachrach is highly deserving of his emmy.

I don’t know what that is

Winner of best comedy at the emmys. It's on Disney+.

Vanessa Kirby- She's great in every film I've seen her in!
Joseph Quinn- No idea who this is.
Pedro Pascal- Way too old.

Be interesting to see who else was in the running for Reed for them to decide on Pascal being the best choice. Considering the amount of influence Hickman's work has had on the MCU I really can't see Pascal as a convincing version of Reed. Would have been more than happy for them to keep Krasinski.

It feels a bit desperate, cast a popular actor who only plays fathers. No matter he's wrong for Reed. Reed is a socially awkward genius who abandons his family for work. Krasinski would have been better but I don't think he's entirely right either.

Rahul Kohli would have been good.

Actually, looking it up, the 2015 version made a massive loss. About $80m estimated. :dread:

EDIT: Well, not quite as astronomically bad as Dial of Destiny and the Marvels losses, but still bad.

I'd completely forgotten that one existed. I thought the Jessica Alba/Chris Evans movies were the last two. :fp:

Tbh I've lost count how many times they've attempted to make those characters work on the big screen. In the current climate where many superhero films are struggling, I'm surprised they're attempting another F4.

You never know, they might randomly make something interesting. 3rd, 4th or 5th time's a charm.

They're Marvel's first family, one of their most popular sets of characters and unlike when Fox? was trying the movies current Marvel has form of making legit good movies. I can't wait.

While the animation is better than the garbage originals, that is some bad voice acting. X-Men Evolution is the best X cartoon.

Don’t really like the Pedro Pascal casting in F4.

It does make sense seeing that he's pretty much a hot property now in Hollywood.

I don't see Pascal as Joel in The Last of Us but he proved me wrong.

Maybe this would be the same. But I do feel he's a bit too old for Mr Fantastic. But then John Kranaski is only 3-4 years younger.

Pascal is a good actor with the right director and script.

Sorry, but trying to recreate the magic of the 90s X-Men is just sacrilege in my eyes.

I can't see Pedro Pascal's age being an issue. Reed Richard's looks old as strawberry float anyway.
