I've been slowly making my way through Xmen 97 after watching the original show for the first time. I really didn't have to bother with the original show because it is not good. I thought that in the 90s and turns out I was correct.
Xmen 97 outclasses it in every way, animation, characterisation, plot, everything. 1x05 is the definite highlight so far. I was expecting a Genosha attack especially after they used another Morrison plot (telepathic affair) earlier in the episode but was suprised how far they went with it.

X-Men 97 was absolutely fantastic and the finale was superb. I can't wait for more.
Finally started Loki S2 and the first episode was a fun ride.

Disney+ asked me to do a survey on X-Men 97 yesterday- what I liked, what I didn't, what I want for season 2 , what characters haven't appeared I would like to see etc.
So if we get an episode where Mystique is Sherlock Holmes in the 1800s solving (and causing) crimes with Destiny, you have me to thank.
