In Cwmbran, yes, they're still in the early 90s.

We usually go to either the Showcase cinema in Nantgarw or the ODEON in the Red Dragon Centre in Cardiff Bay, can't remember the exact prices there but I don't think I've ever paid much more than about £7

Vue in Reading dropped to £5 a ticket a couple of years ago and I went there much more because of it. I'm not sure if every vue is like that but certainly a fair few are.

£20 to rent at home is ludicrous in comparison.

Vue went down to a £5 mostly through wanting people to come more than just Tuesdays and Wednesdays (thanks Orange!).

I think my local Odeon is £10 odd but it only opened in 2019 so is pretty much brand new. Good seats and often quiet.

Every Vue cinema has been £5 a ticket for at least a couple of years now, only exception being for 3D, VIP seats or Greater London which I think was £7 or something. I guess it just wasn't well advertised because people were always surprised at the price when I worked there.

Yeah they've been open for months, along with the gyms and hair dressers (but only those charging £100+ for a gooseberry fool haricut)

I'd be gutted if I was charged £100 for a bean.

These aren't just baked beans, these are M&S premium hand baked beans in a rich, sumptuous tomato sauce...
