Ant-Man 2 better than Infinity War? :dread: Somehow I doubt it.

Ant-Man 2 is so good it makes Citizen Kane look like Citizen Khan.

So the next Spider-man film has been named 'Spider-Man: Far From Home'. Feige says it's set in Europe, but I'm thinking he might be trolling. 'Far From Home' sounds more like it could be set in space. Don't know how they're going to market this movie without spoiling Avengers 4.

First avengers 4 trailer will be out before the end of the year and that'll spoil a lot.

I kinda trust Marvel with any stuff they themselves release prior to Avengers 4 not to spoil much if anything, whether it be through a few changes in the trailer footage (Thanos in the trailer only had 2/3 stones for example) or just generally not revealing tonnes of stuff...

A lot of their focus for rest of this year will be Captain Marvel anyway...

The general consensus is that it’s going to be set mostly on a school trip to London. Mysterio will be the villain, played by Jake Gyllenhaal. I genuinely don’t understand why you’d take a character who swings between skyscrapers on a web line to a city with about half a dozen tall buildings but hey, what do I know. Marvel have earned my trust on matters such as this.

Ant Man and the Wasp 3/5 in Empire. I can't think of an MCU film that they've given less than 4 stars.

Interesting as most reviews have seemed very positive about it. I think some have struggled to review it off the back of two excellent films in Black Panther and Infinity war. Especially as it will be a very different movie compared to those two. The telling thing for me in the empire review was when they wrote that it lacks the scale and ambition of recent marvel movies. Did they forget what the first film was like? It was never going to be a great big juggernaut.

Yeah I felt the same when I read it.

Same here - Ant-Man was never supposed to compete with the really big guns, it's a fairly small, more personal franchise than Avengers, Black Panther or Guardians etc. Most of the reviews are very promising.

Saw Black Panther finally. Enjoyed it but it isn’t threatening my top four or five marvel films. I get why it’s a big deal for the many reasons it should be and it also made me want to see Infinity wars again. Having only seen it once - I’ve now seen it (Infinity wars) three times and I have to say it is pretty much my favourite film so far.
Preferred Ragnarok to BP but both lead into Infinity wars superbly.
Cannot wait for the next few films. Starting with Ant man.

Has Marvel even announced it as a movie yet? :slol: I'm not really sure that I want a Black Widow movie but I guess Marvel hasn't done wrong yet in that respect

I reckon it’ll feature Black Widow and another Avenger, while delving a bit further into the backstory seeds Whedon planted in Age of Ultron.

To be fair I think Black Widow should have had a stand-alone film long before now.

Yeah I think the optimal time for a BW movie would have been sometime just after AOU.

It totally should have been part of phase 2. I'll be shocked if Winter Soldier or Hawkeye aren't in it.
