He could easily 'retire' as Capt given the circumstances and pass it onto Bucky or Sam rather than outright die for example.
When you have super-powers, you can't exactly say "I'm retired" when the world ends up being invaded again. With great power, and all that. I think they'll have to kill him off.

Pictures have appeared of Jake Gyllenhaal on the set of Spider-Man, I'm afraid I can't post them right now but he looks to be dressed as Thor. Certainly fits in with the illusory nature of his character if he's impersonating other characters. Presumably the classic impersonation of Spider-Man himself will come into play at some point.
I read that Michael Mando and Michael Keaton will be reprising their roles - hopefully the Sinister Six can be a thing if there's a third MCU Spider-Man...

Might be due to WWE. He was on Smackdown o Tuesday and there's a lot of rumours he'll be at Wrestlemania next year which is even more likely now with Guardians 3 being delayed indefinitely.

They don't have the rights to him yet and a lot of the other major characters from that story.

My best mate’s son is a huge marvel fan - so I’m giving him my Thanos gauntlet and I got him a Thanos pop vinyl and an iron spider one. Except I’ve removed the spidey one and just put dust in there.
