Could they replace Vision with Spider-Man?

Seems it's been confirmed that the Creed director will be directing Black Panther

Rewatching Ant-Man today for the first time since it was in the cinema. I'm glad it made as much money as it did(Wiki says... just over $500 million), and I'm very glad they have another movie in the works. Would probably go as far as putting it in my top three MCU films, with Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy.

I re watched it a couple of days ago. I like it to. The humour is spot on. I love the Hispanic friend too and his story telling.

Don't get me wrong, it's a reasonably safe film and follows the Iron Man format of "Get suit, explain suit, stop bald guy with better suit" to a tee, but IMO it does it much better than Iron Man, and everybody is so likeable. It's definitely a film I could re-watch on a regular basis, same as Winter Soldier(which I do rewatch on a regular basis :slol: ).

I love Michael Douglas. I hope he is in the next one, in interviews he sounded keen to get involved in more of the action instead of being used solely to move the plot along. I'd really like to see him interact with Stark and Banner but I think that's asking for too much :shifty:

He was on the One Show just before release(I don't normally watch but Michael Douglas) and he was saying that he really enjoyed the experience, and also that his kids told him it'd be an unforgivable sin if he didn't get in about the MCU, so I don't think it'll be too big a step to get him back on board. He's also mentioned that he'd like Catherine Zeta-Jones to play Janet Van Dyne, which I think would actually be a good bit of casting - the age difference is easily explainable by the fact that she's been in sub-atomic space for 25+ years and you'd have to think there's some chemistry already there between the two of them.

If the FF are coming back into the MCU, it'd be good to have a brain trust scene between Pym, Stark, Banner and Reed Richards. It'll never happen but I love that it's now a possibility.

5 years ago we would have thought a Guardians of the Galaxy movie would be insane, or 10 years ago an Avengers movie  I guess anything is possible...

Illuminati movie based on Hickman's New Avengers. :datass:

Hugh Dancy as Reed, Glenn Howerton as Namor.

Eventually but start with a Fantastic Four movie based on 'Solve Everything'.

And now, to make it even more clear just how supersized Infinity War will be, the Russos have revealed how many Marvel characters are set to appear in the films. “We have so many characters we’re dealing with. We’re breaking ground on Avengers: Infinity War. We have a board with 67 characters on it,” they announced at Wizard World New Orleans.

I'm struggling here.

1. Cap
2. Bucky
3. Falcon
4. Natasha
5. Fury
6. Hill
7. Sharon Carter
8. Peggy Carter via time travel
9. Red Skull via tesseract?
10. Dum Dum Dugan via time travel
11. Baron Zemo
12. T'challa
13. Lang
14. Pym
15. Hope
16. Punisher
17. Shuri
18. Stark
19. Pepper
20. Happy
21. Rhodes
22. Hulk
23. Thunderbolt Ross
24.Thor
25. Loki
26. Sif
27-29. Warriors Three
30. Heimdall
31. Coulson
32. Malekith via Power gem
33. Starlord
34. Gamora
35. Rocket
36. Groot
37. Drax
38. Mantis
39. Ronan released via Reality gem.
40. Nebula
41. Wanda
42. Ultron via mind gem
43. Hawkeye
44. Vision
45. Strange
46. Spider-Man
47. Danvers
48. Black Bolt
49. Medusa
50. Maximus
51. Daredevil
52. Jewel

I'm wondering if any of the Agent's Of Shield characters will make it over? If you're counting Coulson it's not a massive stretch to see Daisy at least.

Hope the first thing Thanos does when he assembles the Infinity Gauntlet is to wish them all out of existence apart from May, Daisy and Mockingbird.

I'd also expect to see some more Inhumans. Black Bolt is a King. King needs a Kingdom.

And good news about Coogler, Creed was awesome.

Opening set piece could be Thanos wrecking them and Black Bolt getting his "NO" moment. Can be a backdoor introduction for the characters (similar to what Black Panther is getting in CW) and also sets up Thanos as an actual threat as so far he is all talk with useless henchmen.

Good for Black Panther. He sounds like a great choice. I've not seen Creed yet but I've heard great things about it and his direction in particular.

The Inhumans have been introduced in Agents of Shield but apart from one villain who was new to the comics a few years ago, they've all been characters created for the show with generic superpowers. The main character turned out to be Quake and she's been retconned as being an Inhuman in the comics too.

Isn't there an Inhumans film due out in 2018? Word was Vin Diesel as Black Bolt but nothing's been said on it for ages.

I'm guessing some of Spider-Man's supporting characters might turn up.
