Didn't overly enjoy the last Avengers film or Civil War, but from the little I've heard of this, really looking forward to it. I've not seen the latest Thor film or the Black Panther though, is it going to be a problem if I don't see them first?

Might have to go and buy the Thor film on DVD if it doesn't hurry up and turn up on NowTV.

Probably not necessary but they're both very enjoyable movies and Thor Blu Ray is already out plus Black Panther is still in cinema.

Absolutely worthwhile seeing them even if they don't turn out to help better tell the story in Avengers Infinity Wars.

Going to see them at some point, just need to know if there is any important plot I would miss by seeing Infinity Wars first. Might try and get Thor next week and see the Black Panther when it turns up on NowTV.

Events in Thor and Black Panther are going to lead into things in IW, I’d watch them first if I was you.

In terms of movies I think are going to be important going into this I'd say....

Captain America
Avengers
Winter Soldier
Guardians
Age of Ultron
Civil War
Guardians 2
Thor: Ragnarock
Black Panther

I'd maybe throw in Doctor Strange and Thor: The Dark World as well.

I don't see the Iron Man movies, Ant-Man or Spider-Man having much of a bearing on these. Incredible Hulk is utterly inconsequential in the grand scheme of things.

Won't be able to get to the cinema for Black Panther so that is out. I find it quite annoying the rate the Marvel films are being put out at, particularly if you are trying to keep up with them all.

As long as you are not too bothered by HD quality, it is possible to watch a half decent copy of BP.... :shifty:

Not really interested in pirating films or games anymore because there is so much content available through legit sources that I can wait for things to turn up where I've paid.

As far as developing the whole Avengers/Infinity stones story line, Black Panther is pretty inconsequential. Thor: Ragnarok has character developments and plot that you might want to see beforehand

I'm assuming Korg and Miek become key components of Infinity War so seeing Ragnarok first is crucial.

From the looks of the trailers a sizeable portion of the film takes place in Wakanda with a lot of characters from Black Panther, so there's that.

That was my thought, the plot of BP might not have much to do with IW, but the characters and locations almost certainly will.

Yeah that's why I included it as part of my list.

It might not have any direct link (That we know of anyway), but knowing those characters and Wakanda seems like it'll be pretty important.

I'd revise my list to definitely include Doctor Strange and Thor: The Dark World (Even if it's not great). Both help set up the Infinity Stones and Doctor Strange especially looks to have a big role in Infinity War.

An argument could be made for Iron-Man 3 as well, in that it shows Tony's mental state following on from Avengers, but I think AoU and Civil War are more relevant for that, so I'm leaving it off.

I'm hoping to, yeah.

That's actually a pretty boss line up for a Fantastic Four film. They wouldn't get away with Mads for Doom though now, sadly.

I’m sure they could, it’s a comic book movie, they could either just not mention it or just have a 30 second explanation of why Doom looks like the other guy (I can’t remember his name).

Still showing at some cinemas, my brother plans to go see it this week in preparation for Infinity War day.

It’s still showing pretty widely - my local Odeon has three showings today. I’m at one of them. :slol:
