Other than the fact it is Scarlett Johansson do we really think Black Widow needs her own movie? Surely the Scarlet Witch would be the better character to use (Oh they missed a trick there with the casting)

I know longer have any real interest in it. I do think it could have served a purpose a number of years ago with a lot flash backs to develop her character though.

As long as it’s a good movie then a Black Widow movie is welcome.

There have been plenty of shitty sounding Marvel movies that turned out great. Guardians, Ant-Man and the third Thor film for instance.

Who would have thought when it was announced that a third Thor film would turn out to be the best in the whole cinematic universe to date?

The third Thor movie sounded shitty? :dread:

The only reason Thor 3 might have sounded bad was because Thor 2 was one of the worst Marvel films. Was reading earlier that apparently Patty Jenkins was meant to be directing The Dark World... Wonder if she'd have managed to make it any better than it ended up being!

It’s not that it sounded shitty, but nobody was looking forward to a third movie after the first 2.

Dark World gets far too much hate. It was fine and I was looking forward to the third film, especially once they announced the director.

I thought I was the only person in the world who liked Dark World

A Black Widow film sounds great, I'd like it to be a little more serious along the lines of Future Soldier.

Include Hawkeye and have her cross paths with winter soldier and it could be alright.

I should say although Hawkeye isn’t the best character there was a strong connection between them alluded to in avengers.

I mean in the MCU it’s near the bottom but it’s a perfectly serviceable movie. A 6/10.

It’s easily the worst on the whole MCU though.

The Thor trilogy is the most inconsistent too. The first was completely average, the second the clear worst and the third up there with the best definitely top 5

Still would rather they introduce new characters than use Black Widow and Hawkeye. I mean Ant Man & Guardians of the Galaxy are great, who would have thought, lets get more of those involved. I am really looking forward to Captain Marvel, and I have only ever come across her in Marvel Vs Capcom (much like Rocket Raccoon before)

I wish they could get the Netflix characters involved. Daredevil and Luke cage in particular could be big in MCU.

Punisher could fit in quite well too, though not in any flashback stories

Hulk and Iron Man 2 were easily worse. Wasn't particularly arsed about Ant-Man either.

Captain Marvel has been awful in the comics over the past few years (Civil War 2 did an absolute number on her and it was hilarious) and not particularly exciting before that. She had a costume redesign that became very popular with the cosplay and Tumblr crowd and Marvel seemed to confuse with her being a well loved character in her actual comics, that combined with them being desperate to have a solo female character as big as Wonder Woman has resulted in her getting a ridiculous push in the comic that a lot of fans are sick of.

They better thank the gods they've got someone as good as Brie Larson playing her otherwise I wouldn't have had any interest in that film other than seeing Nick Fury, Coulson and Ronan again.

Assuming you mean Incredible Hulk, then yeah I agree.

Whichever one was the MCU one. The Ed Norton one.

I can't really argue wth that but some people really seemed to hate it. I'd say it's on par with Avengers 2 and Iron Man 3. The best thing about the MCU so far it's that I don't think there is a stinker in there. The only one I'd struggle to watch now is The Incredible Hulk purely because of the Ed Norton thing.
