There was one prick who shouted "Woo" at the classification screen at the start - other than that all cheering or laughing at big moments. But nothing major or out of place

The screening I saw it in (like the first showing of the morning) were proper into it. Big laughs, cheering at the big moments, chuckling and applauding the witty snapbacks, and the woman in front of me seemed to have a proper loud sob in a quiet section towards the end :slol:

I didn't actually think it was that irritating, though. It made it all feel a bit more of an event being surrounded by all these people who are also so invested in the whole thing. Would love to know what the atmosphere is like at a midnight showing.

My fiancée did this with Logan, she started as soon as she saw old Patrick Stewart and never stopped. :slol:

I’m expecting something similar when we go to the cinema tomorrow.

We had one person clap at a moment about half an hour in and then everyone else laughed at them, and then loads of cheers at a certain moment involving a certain character at a certain point near the end of the film.

No there was loads of dust in the cinema and it obviously got in my eyes, that's all. I wasn't crying, you were crying.

Crying is stupid.

Too soon man, too soon.

One person near me started clapping at the end of the screening we went to. He got about three claps in and stopped when nobody else joined in.

Someone at ours started clapping immediately after Thanos got dusted. It was weird.

Off to see Endgame on Tuesday morning, not read any reviews or anything about it but what’s the general consensus on it? Good end to the 10 years worth of films leading up to it?

Yeah, it's got a 96% Rotten Tomatoes rating from 375-odd reviews. Critical consensus seems to be that it isn't perfect but as a spectacle and an endpoint to the last ten years, the movie is really strong.

I did that before I went. It's a good call. Third time for me tonight.

Third time?

I’m expecting it to be great but due to the length of it (how long actually is it? I know its around 3 hours) and how many adverts they insist on showing before the films these days I can’t see myself going to see it more than the once. Might go again before it finishes being shown if I find myself having a day off mid week with nothing planned.

Also one more question, is there actually any post credit scenes? I know I saw before hand how they said there isn’t any but I’m not sure whether to believe them or not.....

Three hours and one minute, I think. If you go to the loo during the trailers you can probably make it :shifty:

I’m at the 10:50 showing anyway so wasn’t planning on having too much to drink beforehand anyway

Three nights on the bounce. No bladder issues. It doesn't feel like a 3 hour film.

...Is that taking into account Sunday’s numbers? Whether it is or not that movie has made more money in five days than all but 17 movies ever made(5 of which are Marvel films and 10 of which are Disney). Think about the mind boggling numbers involved there.

Includes estimates for Sunday I think.
