12 years ago it would have sounded ridiculous that anybody would care about films starring Iron Man, Thor and Doctor Strange.

I’m willing to give phase 4 a go, it’ll be good to mix things up with new characters.

Doctor Strange yes, but Iron Man was instantly appealing, it was chosen as the first film with good reason. New Thor is interesting because of the director and following the previous film, which was (somewhat surprisingly) excellent.

Putting a load of stuff on Disney+ that I don't have any interest in is a good way of guaranteeing I won't see it, even if it does turn out to be good.

Not really. it wasn't a sure fire hit. The character was pretty unknown (and was decidedly b-tier in comics at best)

Downy Jr was a faded star and cheap.

I don’t think Iron Man was instantly appealing, he was barely known at all to non-comic readers.

The trailer was fantastic though and persuaded people to go and watch it.

This is pretty much where I’m at. I’ll be seeing Thor because Taika Waititi but I just don’t have it in me to keep up with this any more. Endgame was simultaneously gratifying and a relief.

As long as they can maintain a similar level of quality, I think I'll be fine with keeping up with it all. I'm pretty interested in seeing the new characters and how they work the Fantastic Four and the X-Men into the MCU too. In terms of quantity, at this point there's no new MCU stuff for almost 10 months, and then it's really just 2-3 movies and some short 6-8 episode shows to watch per year which is easily doable for me.

I haven't even managed to watch all of the Phase 3 films (not seen either Spider-Man film, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man and the Wasp or Captain Marvel), so I doubt I'll have the time or inclination to watch most of the Phase 4 ones. Most of the characters just don't interest me.

Appealing, not known. I didn't know the character and the concept was an easy sell for me.

I just hope Mahershala Ali gives Blade his proper British accent (although I doubt it).

I could not give less of a gooseberry fool about black widow. The time for a stand alone film was after winter soldier. That was the last time I actually cared about her, and I love scarlet Johansson but it’s just such a bland concept for a film. I’m not exactly excited for Shang Chi or Eternals either. Doctor strange and multiverse, Thor 4 and Guardians 3 are all im interested in.

I’m not a big fan of Black Widow but the concept interests me. I enjoy spy thrillers and if it’s like Winter Soldier it could be good and something a bit different than the universe is ending storylines we have ended up at. I’ll reserve judgement until the 1st trailer

Eternals is probably going to be the one I like the most from the lineup though. That cast is amazing and I think the art style could be something really cool. Plus I really don’t know anything about that property besides the hints we have had in previous movies
